Vince Young Gone (Reaction Thread)

While I didn't want to get rid of Vince, this move makes a lot of sense in regards to the future of the franchise. It is fair to say that Vince didn't live up to expectations and was paid very handsomely for his time here.

Whether Fisher ever had his back doesn't matter at this point. This one stings but like I said before I was a fan before Vince and will be long after. But as you mention Eddy, Fisher still needs to go too.

He could have talked about the situation to the media every week like Fisher. He could have publicly denied Fisher's position like Fisher did with publicly denying VY's apology.

There are lots of things he could have done that guys like TO would have, but he didn't and Fisher continued to drive a promising season into the dirt...

It really is too bad the Vince Young story didn't go as planned in Tennessee. Albert Haynesworth once said he believed Vince would benefit from a change of scenery, something I entirely agreed on early last season. I've been around teams with similar turmoil, but I guess this was too much to end good. I'll continue to follow and cheer for Vince, but like many others here I'm more about the Titans than I am about Vince Young. I really hope we are able to retain the services of Randy Moss, the more stars the better as all Fisher coached teams are pretty boring to follow. And I also really really hope we search for a new QB. We've blown numerous early picks on the wrong people, let's get us a proven QB with more upside than what Collins offers.
