Looked terrible under pressure. Like a statue in the backfield. Then throws a pick in the red zone down by 5 with a minute to go.

This wasn't an aberration. This is just who he is.

He definitely doesn't like defenders around his feet, but my God, his o-line was whipped the whole game.

I said this earlier...take away Luck, and this QB class is average.

    Here's to the 2012 draft....

OK but who in 2012 looks good?

Mallett made some great throws I thought. He wasn't very good under pressure which isn't normal for him but he's probably never faced a defensive end like Cameron Heyward who made big bucks tonight, no more late first round pick. But Mallett also had some drops but in this particular game he did look a lot like Collins. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I mean Collins was good at one time and if Mallett is a more mobile Collins that's not all bad. But having said that, the special teams handed him the game on a silver platter, I thought FOR SURE Arkansas was going to win and then he makes the big mistake. Winners intangible? I don't want a Matt Schaub, all stats no wins.

I didn't get to watch the end of the game tonight so I missed Mallett's interception at the end. I did see him make a lot of very nice throws and his receivers drop a LOT of balls that probably would have changed the whole complexion of the game. I definitely saw a pass get dropped in the endzone in the second quarter. He may not be ready to start in the NFL, but I was impressed by a lot of what I saw. He was far more impressive than Jake Locker in his bowl game (which admittedly isn't saying that much). Call me crazy, but I'd be pleased if the Titans drafted this kid. I guess I have just about given up on VY and its hard for me to get excited about any of the free agent QB's that will be available this offseason.

I liked his accuracy (improved, his touch on fades, back shoulder looked nice), his arm obviously, and he made his progressions. That being said, he had no feet, it looked like his legs were slow to react, and anytime there was any pressure, he seemed flustered. I figured being 6' 7", he would break some tackles, but he's not mobile enough to do so. Comparing him to Luck from yesterday was like night and day.

That's why we will get him with our 2nd round pick :)

2nd round seems really unlikely. Someone will take Mallett high. Lots of teams need quarterbacks.

Mallett has big bust potential. He scares me.

He seemed to make the reads and was extremely accurate. He makes all the throws (or so I've heard not seeing him but in a couple of games this season).

He doesn't have to be mobile but have pocket awareness to know when to step up, move right or left, etc. He didn't deal well with pressure up the middle. That tackle for OSU won the game for them, IMO. He kept Mallett from throwing deep on those freshman with his pressure.
