Orton for 2nd rounder

Orton and Britt would be a great team. Orton lit it up early this season. i dont know why they benched him.

 

You're right. Not sure what I was thinking. I was caught up on the fact that I knew he played well in 2008 without McDaniels. I shouldn't try to answer emails and talk football at the same time. Either way, he's not just a fluke product of McDaniels' system.

I'd still like to draft a QB. In the meantime a guy like Orton would be fine here with the attention CJ gets and with a healthy Britt. A great QB puts us over the top, but just about any vet with a decent arm who isn't a turnover machine can win in TN.

 

Kyle Oton with KC as backup is not a horrible thing for the next 2 years.

I like Orton and he has played well this year unlike the rest of his team. Hard to argue with 20 Tds and 9 ints but some will i'm sure.

Remember the cost of a guy like Orton is off set some by trading Vy though his trade value won't be as high because of his contract and attitude.

 

I hate Orton. He would come in here and play just like Kerry. Mark my words.

I'll definitely take Gradkowski or Kolb before him... though Kolb looked terrible a few days ago.

 

Why? Are they twins or something? Tell me who is better that can be obtained with a 2nd rd pick and a reasonable contract. Names please.

 

He was benched because their season was over and they wanted to see what Tebow could do. Tebow played great and not just for a rookie he played great so Orton moves on.

We need to take note that the Broncos best Wr from 2009 was playing for the dolphins this year yet Orton's numbers remained solid. They also didn't have eddie Royal for 5 starts.

 

How much do they like Rusty Smith? If they think he has real potential for the future, see if a 3rd would get Orton and keep KC and Rusty. Rusty can learn for a few years at a cheap price and then jump into the fire. If he can't do it, draft a guy in the 4th or 5th with lots of upside like Jerrod Johnson from aTm (seems similar athletically to VY, but with a great attitude) to sit and learn how to be a good QB instead of just a good athlete.

 

I've changed my mind, forget Orton. I can't accept having him, he's gay. I thought I could look past his nappy beard, but he's no good for us.
