Adams advised to keep Fisher, ditch Young

    I get what your saying but this isn't 2008. Fisher is not currently a good coach. It's time to get rid of him.

    Lol, when did I say that? He's far from a franchise quarterback, but I want to win, and he gives us the better chance of winning over Kerry. Your argument earlier wasn't about fixing the defense, it was how Kerry and Fisher had brought us success in the past...which is exactly that, the past...different team, and Kerry wasn't the reason, so my point is that your point was irrelevant.

    Interesting comments from Solomon Wilcots. He says Young is basically a bust and that Fisher has been the reason the Titans haven't completely fallen apart the past few years.

    Might be a case of not knowing what you have until it's gone. I would love to have the luxury of seeing what Fisher could do with a totally new QB. I would much rather see that than see what Young can do with a new coach. I'm pretty sure I know what Young is. I am still puzzled by exactly how good of a coach Fisher is.

    Vince has been here 5 years. Look at Fisher's record prior to the past 5 years and you can see what he's done. Not terrible but not great either. He hasn't won the big games consistently enough.

    Vince's issues and Fisher's issues are seperate.

    Only if he puts us in the best position to win, and you do that by playing the players that gives you the best chance of winning, which he didn't do the past season, so no thanks.

    Fisher has kept the team together? LOL okay. He's the sole reason for us not making the playoffs in 2006 or 2009. Fire him already, damn.

    i read an article in Tennessean that Griff supports Fisher. He probably just being politically correct though huh??

    Any changes at all right now, are good changes. I don't think it's going to be a big deal if he fires Fisher and keeps VY. I can't wait to see how this ends though.

    Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with this. I still think I would give Fisher one final chance next season. It's the last year of his contract and it's a bad time to hire a coach anyhow. I think you cut/trade Vince (I don't see any hope left for him), let Fisher bring in a new QB and tell him he's fired if he doesn't get a playoff win. Then you follow through on that threat.
