So you're Ok with it if Bud comes out tonight and says "Fisher is our man for a long long time"?

If it's been stated that Fisher won't work with Young, then of course Fisher's friends are going to back their guy. Fisher goes, they also go. They don't want to go job hunting, move, learn everything all over again somewhere else. Duh they chose the coach over the QB. Doesn't mean anything tho. Vince is the right person to stay, not Fisher.

And my point is Fisher and Collins can win...when we have a great defense like we did back in 08, but we don't.

He will never be good with your opinion. He has proven all year that he likes VY simply because of his race. There is no moving him off of that spot. Just do not engage him.

We get it CJ and JC...Everyone is wrong about VY. I mean what do they know right? You know it all. Not the FO. And what team needs a leader at QB? not us..screw it

    Peace brother

In any event, even if both Fisher and VY stay we need another QB. Denver is reportedly willing to deal Orton for a 2nd round pick. He's at least a very good backup, and I think in our system he could compete for the starting job. I think we should pull the trigger on him... not like we know how to draft in the 2nd round anyway.......

He certainly has the right to put his 2 cents in. But if he's consistently micromanaging the team then that would be a problem. I don't think we're at that point yet though. If Fisher's contract stipulates that he has complete control over roster decisions then, as much as I hate to side with Fish, Bud should butt out. For some ridiculous reason Jeff refused to answer whether or not he has complete control when he was asked yesterday (which leads me to believe he does not).

But if he does then Bud needs to either back off or pay off Jeff and make a change. Sad that 3 out of the 4 most important people in our organization are gigantic wastes of space. Reinfeldt being the lone exception.

    Dead on... Fix the defense!

Just don't say that VY is the Messias that gives Fishers the only chance to win games!!

    Wow. Calm down.

Of course Bud should have the right to do whatever he wants. No one is denying that. But he should also be smart enough to realize that he hired a front office for a reason. All the best owners know when to step back and let their advisers help them make important football decisions. Bud may not be willing to do that, and that could be a big mistake.

This is ridiculous. Why does this have to be about VY at all? Sounds like Fisher is looking for a scapegoat to hide the fact that he's had 1 good season (2 if you count 2007) in the last 8 years. That would be unacceptable to any other franchise. I can understand Adams not firing Fisher because he has 1 more year on his contract, but if Fisher thinks that he has any leverage left in this situation, he is just plain out of touch with reality.

If he can't/won't win with a proven winner at QB, then maybe he should just pack his things so he can go lose with the QB of his choosing.
