Maybe the players do want Fish to stay.

What were these dude supposed to say? "He stinks, get him out of town!" In this day and age, the only people who tell the media the truth are "crazy" like T.O or someone like that, the rest might as well read from a cue card every time the camera is on their face. If Finnegan reached back and said "We would be better with a new coach" we would all be talking about "wtf is wrong with Finnegan, is he stupid?"

 

Actually it's not. The supporters for Fisher got to continue to play the rest of the season. If you spoke in support for VY, then your back up is playing in your spot.

 

& in most cases of those cases the backup has outperformed the starter. Anyone see how great D-Will was yesterday? He was making plays Gage couldn't even dream of.

 

I can't believe the media is trying to spin this story. Did anybody see anybody wearing "Save Fisher" apparrel? Somehow the media was still able to throw together a few quotes to try to spin things their way.

I think if the players wanted Fisher to stay they'd speak up. Your either part of a team or not and you would always want whats best for the team.

It doesn't matter if Fisher got along with some of the players or not, he's not able to win. I wish him the best but I want to win and right now he's the weak link. Hopefully he can turn things around in a new city.

 

We really never have gone after WR's early in the draft. Not too often anyway. I was sick when we passed on Moss to get Kevin Dyson. I think that was when everyone was worried about drafting players like Lawerence Phillips. Moss maybe a turd sometimes, but he never dragged his GF or wife by her hair down a flight of stairs at an apartment complex and beat her up in the yard like Phillips did.

Exactly..... Fish has lost his perspective. Blame it on VY if you want. But
it sure seems like Fish has been making things personal with more players than just VY. He seems to be soft on some and vengeful on others.

They want him to stay, how nice.

I dont care what the players think. If they won a championship, or heck, had a winning season with him, i might listen.
