If anyone's interested or if really matters, on the Tennesseean's website there's a fan poll going on. One question about Fisher and one question about Young. when I looked there were over 800 votes cast so far.

The results thus far may irritate some members here.

 

I agree with this people are making it a Vy VS. Fish thing when you look at it should be about the body of work that Fish has had for 17 Years. The team quit on him again it's time for a change. But I don't think it will happened.

 

No coach has ever won a Super Bowl with 2 teams, it will happen some day, just hasn't been many chances for it to....I think any coach worth his weight is going to want to be able to choose his QB. Outside of Dungy, who had Peyton, when was the last time a coach took over a team with a QB in place and it worked out?

 

The average person who lives in Tennessee and is a supposed Titans fan is also an idiot. That doesn't just got for the Titans that goes for any pro sports team. Most casual fans are dumb and just listen to what they hear on espn or other news outlets. I would say that if it was heavily favoring VY as well.

 

Tomlin in Pitt; but I agree with your comments. A new coach has to be able to call the shots or how can you hold him accountable for the results?

 

Well it's past Monday morning, so whats the deal? We gonna be stuck with this butt face for another <.500 season?

 

If they pick Fisher over VY then I am saying without as doubt that we have the dumbest fan base in football.

 

good call on Tomlin, I hadn't mentioned him because Cowher wasn't fired. He retired leaving a very good team behind. This is a completely different situation. I agree with the statement you made, it's dead on. If the coach cannot call his shots, you cannot hold him accountable.

 

Just remember, those "average" "idiots" make up larger proportion of public sentiment than a fan BB does. From a business standpoint they buy NFL apparel, watch the TV and boost ratings, attend games, etc. They add to the bottom line of the frenchise.
