So who do you think should replace Fisher?

Why would you want Billick? That seems like the joke to me.

 

If we get a new coach, you can bet we will draft a QB with our #8-10 pick...whatever it ends up at....VINCE's only shot at coming back is with Fisher. Any HC we hire is going to want to bring a new guy in from the draft assuming one of the QBs is there at the appropriate time.

Newton? probably not
Mallett? maybe still there
Locker? seems a bit high for him at this point
Gabbert? truthfully, I don't know much about him, but some have him rated the 2nd best QB in the draft so I guess we will see.

 

Before Rivera was defensive coordinator for the bears he was doing analysis on a Chicago sports radio station and i was never impressed by what he had to say. Of course Jeff fisher isn't that impressive either when he talks football.

Some guys know one thing well. Many great coordinators were not good head coaches. Was Greg Williams a great head coach?

Rivera is preferrable to Rob ryan.

I'm hoping Newton is gone before we pick, I don't want Reinfeldt tempted to draft him. Id rather have a Pat Devlin with a later pick then use a top 10 pick on Locker or Gabbert.

When Marty morhinweg's name was mentioned more than one time by posters here alex said nothing. That name and his 16% winning percentage as a head coach was not a joke to him. But Brian billick a super bowl winning coach that to alex is a joke?

Some people are more concerned about personalities than logical thought. I guess it is what i have to deal with the ill will left over from pwning some posters over and over again. I love it.

 

What you don't know? Neither of "those guys" did anything to improve those teams. Why did they get fired because they did a great job?

The Lions were 8-8 and 9-7 under Bobby ross the 2 seasons before Mornhinturd took over. He then improved them to 2-14 and 3-13. Wow hire him now! From 17 wins the previous 2 years to 5 wins the next 2. great coaching!
