Birds get in the air before an earthquake...Farm animals and dogs start freaking out before a tornado.....rats leave a sinking ship.

Why should the media be different here???

For real, the signs are too bold to ignore. Fisher's exit is coming.

Slowly but surely I think that is the case.

Funny, I was just talking to a friend of mine who lives out of state (not a Titans fan). He brought up Fisher and what I thought would happen to him. I told him my thoughts and in the process threw out some stats on Fisher's regular season and postseason success (or lack thereof). His reaction? "Whaaaaaa?!?! I did not realize that! How does he have the kind of reputation he has? And why is he still with the Titans?"

That's the problem right there with most people's opinion on Fisher (including many in the media). They hear how great he is so they just assume it must be so. Once they start looking into the reality of the situation they realize how instrumental the hype machine was in building Fisher's reputation.

well there was a day, 10 or so years ago, that the Titans meant something and it was a reflection of fish face. Now the Titans are gutted and teams have no fear/apprehension of playing Tennessee. Definatly was not always the case. When fisherball meant pound the rock on O and pound the man on D teams, all teams, hated playing the Titans. For whatever reason fish face has not been able to get his teams playing with the required attitude for the better part of the last decade. Could be it was never fish face at all but the guys in the locker room back in the day. Either way when fish face is gone I want all the 'me-first' guys on the same train out of town with him.

Yea I remember the days when people respected the Titans. Now we're the laughing stock of the NFL, right up there with Detroit & Cleveland. I actually think the Lions would beat us right now.

it all started after our rebuilding years in 04/05 - the players from the 99 team were all but gone, and we had the #6 draft pick for 06, which we wasted on vince young. that was the beginning of the end for fisher, which is really sad, because that was not the pick he wanted. there is no telling where the team would be now if fisher was allowed to get his guy. maybe the same or worse, but i'd bank on better. what's really sad and terrible about it is since the team was stilling winning with VY and he was an exciting player (not mention Bud Adam's replacement son), fisher had to stick with him. i consider this the "main" reason for his and the organization's eventual downfall.

Poor poor Jeff Fisher. Vince Young ruined his life.
