C'Mon Vince is not the answer....Fisher isn't either....

Fisher may have been on Vince since day one but Vince has shown why Fisher has been on him since day one. Vince is immature. He can barely put a sentence together let alone run an NFL offense. Mawae said he has no idea how to be a pro. He fumbles a couple times a game. Look at the Pittsburgh game. Bottle him up and he falls apart.

Fisher has no discipline. Guys like to play for him but he has shown zero consistency. Very mediocre.

Scary thing is who does Bud bring in to replace Fisher. Look what happened after Bud canned Bum Phillips. Can anyone remember Ed Biles and the Edmonton Eskimos coach that followed Bum. Things may be bad now but prepare for some lean years. We have to pray for a solid QB or we are toast for some time.

He beat the Colts and Peyton Manning his rookie year. The Saints, Jets, and Colts his sophomore season. Arizona and Miami last year. VY hasn't played much against the Steelers, Ravens, Chargers, or Pats in his years here in TN. I think he played the Pats what his rookie year? He's played the Ravens what once? The Steelers once or twice.

Though we'll never know, I'm thinking that this team would win more games with Jeff Fisher and a rookie QB instead of VY and a new HC.

    Why?

I'm just a floater from outside, but I'm honestly curious about one thing--why all this angst about Fisher?

Not to disparage him. He's not great, but he's certainly not awful either. He is what his record says he is--a somewhat above average coach. That's nothing to sneeze at, but it's also not exactly something to write home about. You could do worse than Fisher, but you could also do better. After 16+ years, maybe it's time to find out.

I would say that for both Tennessee and Fisher. I mean, honestly, how many professional coaches have been at one spot for 16 years and still won the Big One? The closest I can come up with is Bill Cower at 14, but his winning percentage was well above Fisher's, he'd had only 3 non-winning seasons at that point, and his teams were constantly in the hunt. So maybe it's time for Tennessee to move on, and maybe it's time for Fisher to move on, so that both can see what they can accomplish outside of a marriage gone terminally stale.

I know he's the only coach Nashville has ever known, but you'll get over it. Honest.:toast:

You ain't never lie. Feel free to call me crazy but I really have a very strong feeling that Fisher is not gonna be back and not only that, Jerry Jones is finally gonna get his chance to make Jeff Fisher his coach and he's not gonna let anybody else get him. Jerry was pissed after the Cowboys latest loss in AZ and he is not gonna just settle on Jason Garrett.

He wants to win and he is not afraid to spend money or draft picks when going after something he wants (Roy Williams, Dez Bryant). Now so let's say that the (perceived) greatest coach in the NFL is available in Jeff Fisher, Jerry Jones won't think twice about buying out Fisher's contract AND giving up a pick or whatever it takes to get his team the best around.

This is gonna happen guys. Knowing Fishbag and how he operates I don't put it past him to start the rumors of him to Dallas himself. That's where he would want to go. It truly is a team like the Yankees bought and built to win so who wouldn't want the Dallas job.

Bud knows what's best for the team too bad it took him so much time to do it.

It had to be done for the greater good one

Best titans news I've heard in a while

    Hope for the next season.

thats your argument is that he sucks and that he's an idiot cause he can't stay healthy and loses to top tier teams?

Seriously? I thought it was that he just straight sucks and that they can win with him at all.

    Wow guess I'm wrong.

Of course 24, VY can't run the hurry-up, he proved that when all he could do was pick up 99 yards in that drive last year- so limited that guy. (You're still steaming over coming back from 12 points down with 6 mins to go, aren't cha. LOL)

It's the kind of media splash that Jerry likes, big "name" coach. But the marriage will fail - they are both control freaks and we all know Fish ain't have the coach he's reported to be so a season or three of almost but not quite will do him in with Uncle Jerry.
