Beating the Colts, beats a higher draft pick, no doubt about that.

And then add the bonus, that we can make the Colts miss POs, that's worth fighting for.

Higher draft pick means nothing. Ask the Bengals, Lions etc.

Beating the Colts and knocking them out would be pretty cool. They aren't the best at drafting either.

    1. Fisher is gone regardless of the outcome of this game. Clear your head of the man-hate.

    2. A loss moves us up in draft order MAYBE 5 slots. We may get around pick #10 with a loss. Unless the GM changes- we'll draft best player available and look to acquire a "bargain" vet QB (eg-Palmer).

    3. You play to win the game :)barf:- I quoted Herm). This organization lacks PRIDE and COMMITTMENT from the owner down to the current roster and now apparently, the fanbase. You don't go out there to lose unless you are loser. There is no "greater good" in this equation by losing. Roster improvement occurs by MANAGEMENT decisions. Those DON'T OCCCUR ON THE FIELD. NUT UP people and support your team with some pride. I wouldn't want any of you kitties that want to lose playing next to me in ANY contest or challenge.

    4. It would galvanize any players that remain on the roster under the new coach next year to have the experience of going in and knocking off the Colts who have bent us over at will pretty much this entire decade. Believe me that the players realize this game is their audition to make a squad next year. I'd estimate that about 80% of the roster is smart enough to recognize this and will bring their "A" game to the Colts. I imagine the same goes for Fisher.

Robbing the Colts of the play-offs trumps any draft order scenario. Fisher is a non-factor here. I'd like to see the Titans beat the Colts even when our team was at a low point.

I don't care either way. If we were smart, we would throw Simms in the game to see if he is worth looking at as an actual backup option for next year. It is quite evident that Kerry would need to he at the top of his game for us to win and he isn't. It's obvious the guy is hurt and it is making him worse than he normally is. We've seen Rusty so let's see Simms. That being said, not gonna happen, Kerry will help Fisher wrap up in Tennessee.

sorry im "not a true hardcore fan" who's " blinded by man-hate"....
IMO winning this ONE game is not worth riskin the chance of having fisher return. yes more than likely he's gone, but lets not act like the past 17 years and countless lossing streaks havent shown us that fisher finds a way to stick around. to me, if he returns, next year has little hope of anything beyond 8-8. we all know their will be a QB problem, our D is heading south and i see no reason to believe fisher will right that ship quickly, and lastly thats his status quo!!!! 8-8
id like to go into next season thinkin " hey, maybe we've got a chance...." "maybe this NEW coaching staff can shake things up"
not "welp, we beat indy in the last game... lets see what fish can do different in his 18th year"

I want us to lose, but not for any reason I've seen yet. I so don't want Tom "Butt Chin" Brady to win another SB. I want the teams in the playoffs that have the best chance of beating New England. That isn't the Jags so I would rather see the Colts.

On a side note and fwiw the statements is "I couldn't care less." If you could care less then why don't you?

Relax. Fisher is gone. He's lost the team and the owner. No need to sweat it or go overboard. He's a good but not great coach. He won't be back for his 18th run.

customtitan, if you owned this team would you base your decision on the outcome of the week 17 Colts-Titans or the past 17 years of not winning the Super Bowl? I assure you, the die is cast. If Fisher is staying it's a done deal. I'm next to positive he's gone, but even if the Titans decimate the Colts 43-0, Chris Johnson has a 200 yard game and Rusty Smith has a passer rating of 158.3 going 23/23 338 yards, 4 tds it's not going to change a damn thing.

i hope your both right.... and u probably are, i certainly would base my decision on the entire picture and not just this one game. ive been in the "fire fisher" camp for a few years and i dont want this "opportunity" to pass so to speak.

    im just ready for change!!!!
