You have a solid opinion on a lot of things but your logic is flawed here. Sure having a high pick doesn't "guarantee" you hit on the pick. But common sense tells you that the better the pick the more options you have to choose from.

The more available options the better. Always. Of course it's still up to the front office and scouts to make solid evaluations and decisions. But to act like "Eh who cares where you pick" is absurd. A meaningless loss in week 17 could be the difference between getting a guy like Mallett (who, granted, may or may not ever develop into an elite pro QB) and missing out on a top rated QB altogether.

Ok I want to make this very clear -- If the Titans win what impact does it have on the outcome of their season? Answer = NONE ie.. The Titans have nothing to gain whatsoever from a win at Indy. Don't get me started on talking about "Its for the pride and to piss Payton off" argument.

My vote is most definitely on a goose egg for the Titans solidifying a season of Fisher football! If you are a True Titans fan and want Fisher to stay then I must take upon myself to tell you how incredibly stupid you are! Fisher had 17 years to bring a superbowl championship to Nashville and really didn't scratch the surface. Com'on music city miracle? That's exactly what it was a MIRACLE! How many other organizations needed a MIRACLE to boost them into the Superbowl? ANSWER = NONE!

LOSE BIG SO FISHER GETS THE BOOT FOR SURE!

Never want to lose to the Colts. Just one of those win win situations. If we do magically come away with a win, that's awesome just to put the Colts out of the playoffs. If we lose, just a better draft pick.

I don't believe beating the Colts will save Fisher's job if it is in jeopardy. If our outlook on the entire season can be changed by one game, then our problems start much higher than the head coach.

However, I lean towards wanting to beat the Colts, just can't stand losing to 'em. Kind of like saying I don't care if the Cubs/Red birds/Braves beat my Stros!

If a win will keep the Dolts out of the playoffs then of course I want us to win.

However if a win and somehow, some way, Fisher gets to keep his job then I want us to lose.

    Best case scenario...

We win, injure Payme Manning, but Fisher gets out coached badly so we win in lucky fashion. Dolts miss the playoffs and Fisher gets canned.

    Have to want the win.

Not going to happen though. In his last game we might see Fishstache wearing a Manning jersey on our sideline.

    Winning gets us nothing.

    No winning season.

    No pride.

    No glory.

    Not even gloating:

Titans: Haha! We stopped you from getting in the playoffs, suckers!

    P. Manning: ROFLMFAO! Only Titans fans. *shakes his head and walks away laughing*

-It's the same kind of pitying humor people experience when they see a Mavericks fan in a "Western Conference Champions" shirt.

Losing gets us a better pick. Our new coach would like that.

Not that whether we win is up to us, but let's be smart about this.

I was typing up a reasoning behind my opinion, giving explanations of why I feel this way so that people don't get the wrong vibe from me.

I'm not going to beat around the bush. I want us to lose. Period.
