VY and Fisher Will Not Be Together Next Season

I'm not excusing Fisher. I want to see them both hit the road. Leinart Sucks, Vince Sucks. Same result with either. The best year we've had with VY on the team was the year he played in 1/2 game. If that doesn't tell you anything.

^^ Agreed. Anybody that think Collins should've remained the QB that year is delusional. On his "game winning drive" he fumbled the ball. The guy was playing horrible.

 

Rookie of the year? He almost helped us get to the playoffs last year. This year he had the highest QB rating at one point and only threw 1 picks.

Vince looked like the QB we were wanting to draft this year. And he wasn't doing it with his legs.

i get it when people say he vince is immature or that he cant handle being a franchise QB but saying he sucks really seems idiotic to me. he is 30-17 as a starter, sense he took over last year he has as many game winning drives as peyton manning, and he had the highest QB rating until he got hurt. to me that doesn't warrent him "sucking" if you want to know about having a sucky QB go look at what the raiders had with russel, or the cards with matt, the 49ers with smith. i can go on and on. if you really think VY sucks with the record and stats he has then i truly wish you luck on finding a QB that you think is good. every team cant have a brady or manning

What is also true, to me at least is that Reese would have selected Cutler and Fisher would have been fine with it. To hell with Leinart. Bud took Reeses' power, not Fisher's in the '06 draft.

 

People are illogical. I can reason with the ones who say he's immature but people still think he's a terrible QB.

 

To not suck, I think winning a a game that matters helps out his cause.

Here's Vince's Playoff stats:

A good quarterback

a. has good regular season stats (1/2 year out of 5)

b. leads his team to the playoffs (1 year out of 5)

c. wins at least one playoff game (0)

Passer rating is nice, but if you don't get it done when it matters, you aren't good. That's why Romo sucks and not many would argue. At least he's won one playoff game.

That is why Vince sucks. He doesn't get it done when it matters. And he's three years away from a playoff game where he tried to get out, and where he was bad. That was the highlight of his career so far. You don't know why people say he sucks?

He's had a few seasons where winning a crucial game would get us there, and he blows it. He throws in some clutch moments in games, Like the Cards last year, and the Texans' game his rookie year,
but the end result is always the same. Early exit because he can't get it done.

The one right thing that the Texans have done in their short pathetic history was selecting Mario Williams first overall.
