KC is all hype, no substance. They lose consistently to the worst teams in the league.

    Pretenders to a T.

I am not saying that they are SB bound anytime near term, but I disagree that there is no substance there. They have had some good drafts (both sides of the ball), I think that Cassel is coming around, and I think that Haley is a good coach.

    Time will tell....

I think Johnson and Britt are both better then Charles and Bowe. However, KC plays good football, we play crappy football. I'm not liking our odds.

At least they pretend to be good. Their current situation is the result of a good coaching staff convincing a bunch of good-decent players that they can win. And showing them how to. The opposite of us. We pretend to suck with a roster full of talent and a coach that can't get our guys up enough to go 9-7 and win the division or not lose 6 in a row. We also consistently lose to the worst teams in the league, and are in NO position to make the playoffs without a meltdown by Indy and Jax.

Chiefs aren't great but not a team we should take likely. I think we can definitely win if we show up like we did last week. If we show up like we did the other 6 weeks.. it'll probably another disappointing week. Charles and Bowe are definitely comparable to CJ and Britt, but I wouldn't trade them player for player at all, I think we easily got the better pair.

Charles has 6.4 YPC! (3rd in rushing)

CJ has 4.5 (which is still really good) (4th in rushing yardage) Charles has like 80 fewer carried too.

He is having a better season so far.... He came on strong last year too.

If Charles wasn't splitting carries with Thomas Jones, he'd probably have run for 2000 yards this season. He may attain 2000 total yards though.

Charles is an elite RB and deserves to be in the conversation with Peterson and Johnson as the best in the NFL.

Alot of Longhorn homers wanted him over CJ (could have had him for a second rounder) Chiefs drafted him in the 3rd. Also, you didn't see him missing time and threatening a holdout. He played well and was eventually paid.

I disagree with this post completely. The only reason in my opinion that Charles is more productive this season than CJ is because of Thomas Jones. When it's a speed back like Charles and Johnson you need that big back to soften up the defense. Also the Chiefs don't run Charles up the gut over and over and over.

    Charles > CJ.

    YPC proves that.

Charles will also play much, much longer than CJ... talking about 4-5 years longer. CJ has two more decent seasons in him. Then he might as well be done.

Titanic Sub, I do agree with a lot of what you said. Thomas Jones is a big factor to their running success. They're the best running team in the league this year... the Jets were the best last year; now they suck without Jones. I still say Charles > CJ.

Charles is currently averaging over 6 yards per carry for his 3 year career. That is sick. If he finishes the season with 6.4 ypc this year, he'll have surpassed the very best the NFL has ever had to offer. He'll be alone at the top of YPC for backs with more than 200 carries in season. That is better than Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Chris Johnson or any other NFL running back that you can think of. Dude is sick and shouldn't be taken lightly at all. Chris Johnson and him are 1a and 1b in my book. Johnson's productivity is clearly hampered by all the turmoil at the QB position.
