I never stated I wanted Matt Flynn. Even though he had a better understanding in one week against the patriots then both our qbs did last year. Its just time to get a qb that can build into something consistent with weapons like Britt and cj now! And you are kidding yourself if you think vy could throw for 250 yards a game consistently. He couldn't do that in any system!

I firmly believe that the Titan's QB of next year is not currently on the roster. Probably draft or maybe free agent or even both. Time to start over

I'd gladly take Matt Flynn! Even before last nights game, I'd have him. He's not taking Vince's job, but in the event Vince is not here in 2011, I'd very much like to see what Matt Flynn could do for the Titans. And we know Bud would be in favor of this too since Flynn is from somewhere in Texas. I like Flynn, but realistically it was John Kuhn that kept the Packers going against the Patriots last night. Flynn has a good understanding of the game. And like Rusty Smith, has all the tools to be really good. I can't get too into this guy tho, I remember him sitting behind JaMarcus Russell at LSU, and that can't be a good thing.

I get what you're doing here, and I don't agree with the general idea you're putting out there about this guy. You do know Tom Brady also lost the first game the was flung into. And Flynn had a productive preseason. I know what preseason is worth, but when Flynn knew he'd be playing he played quite well. Our problem with getting him is that Rodgers just can't stay healthy, and Green Bay won't be so quick to move this guy. If the Titans did show an interest it would have to come right before the draft.

Fair enough. My point is that it is a very limited resume. With that said, I'd take him over Rusty Smith. I'm watched the two regular season games, preseason, and a handful of college games and I'm still yet to see ANYTHING from that guy that suggests that he could be a successful NFL question.

Maybe we could swap QB's and 6th rounders for Flynn. I'm pretty sure we'll be picking sooner than Green Bay.

Jeff Fisher could make Peyton Manning look like Matt Flynn. Also Matt Flynn is the opposite of VY. Just look at VY's winning drives even as a rookie vs that beautiful mastered last drive of the game last night by the 3rd year pro Matt Flynn. How in the heck can you not know what's going on when there is less than a minute to go in the game. Flynn was running the 5 minute offense with 30 seconds to go in the game. That was pathetic.

I thought he played damn good football. He shrugged off a few lineman, and was able to find receivers down field as he was moving. A lot of young QB's including Vince lose track of their own players once they take their eyes off the defense and start scrambling. Flynn threw a few incomplete passes that should have been catches, but also threw some completions that wouldn't normally get 1st downs. He had a nice amount of skill topped off with some luck. Just not enough luck to win it in the end.
