I hope you guys are just kidding on Mariani. He's been a solid returner and one of the biggest contributers of this rookie class He can't help it that Fish wanted him for reasons that may not have been based on scouting team recommendations. I like Mariani just fine myself.

The VY haters have shown themselves to be clearly more zealous than any other sports faction ever and what my fellow posters are coming to realize is that it simply is...hate.

And we'll laugh while imagining cranky, bitter guys frowning in front of their computers every time word gets out that someone smiled when Vince poked his head in the training room instead of immediately running to a reporter and telling the world how much of an awful disgusting human being he is.
