Kevin Mawae just wants his job back in TN. He's probably banking on Fish coming back.

    All assumptions though.

Mawae is an alien sent to divert us from a looming attack on our planet. He and Fisher are in this together. Fisher's a human, but the aliens contacted him and he's been their double-agent doing general reconnaissance for the last 2 years.

Fisher does not appear to be to much of a leader himself. 2 years in a row his team has quit him. KFC maybe a leader but he does not win games, to me not winning means not much leading. Get rid of Vince. Fine. But fisher needs to go too.

The defense is a joke, CJ not eddie george, Nate and gage are not better than moss, why did you bring the guy in(84) and pay him 3 million?, Rusty Smith was never given any chance 4 success(BETTER THAN CHRIS SIMMS everyday all day), this staff plays favorites not the best 11, always someone's else's fault. Total arrogance.

I guess when it comes to Vince Young, it's all about your viewpoint.

Mawae didn't trash Young. He didn't even pick sides. Lost in all this barking, Mawae said:

“... It is disappointing because the kid’s got all the talent in the world and has had an opportunity to step up and hasn’t done so. He’s a great athlete and he wins games. That’s one thing you can never take away from Vince is that he wins ballgames. ... But as far as being the consummate pro like some of the other guys in the league, it’s disappointing that he hasn’t taken that step.”

Mawae has not been around Young this past offseason. From all offseason reports, Young's attitude and work ethic improved. So is Mawae commenting on the previous seasons?

Also, even Mawae admits Young wins games, but I guess that got lost as everyone jumped on the not a consummate pro headline.

I think we can all agree, that from a record-wise standpoint VY wins games. But where the real disagreement comes into play is, is that enough? The problem with this team at the QB position is that we have a lot of young guns, they need to be led in the Right direction, displaying great work-ethics and attitudes. With VY, we are not getting that. That is why if he is the Leader of this team or Offense, we cannot and should not accept these emotional meltdowns. They are too destructive for our team as has been thoroughly proven in the last 6 weeks.

I am not drawing that conclusion...I am interpreting your original post to say "No SB ring = No heart = loser". Even in the above you are equating "losers" with someone who never won a SB title. That is, in my opinion, WAY too simplistic. Fran Tarkenton, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, and others in this likeness are examples of players who did not win a SB....are they "losers" too?

I don't think I ever remember McNair throwing his pads into the stands and storming out of the locker room.......
