I agree with the OP on the LBs, OL and Hope. I have to disagree on Nate though. He fixed his problem with the drops and has been solid. I like him.

I'd like to say that Velasco is not starting material yet, and I'm not too sure he ever will be. If we are going to address the center position it should come from outside the organization. We don't need many changes, just a few tweaks here and there. You'd be surprised how well others will improve when the man beside them isn't some dead beat named Eugene Amano.

one of the problems with the secondary as well. Fuller/Nickey is the primary S BU for cryin' out loud. Fuller is used in nickle/dime packages so that means that for all pratical purposes Nickey would have to step in to replace Hope/Griffin and there play is easily better than anything that could be expected from Nickey. Nickey gets torched by insurance salesmen during preseason

Sans getting tagged I suspect J. Joseph is gonna gonna do anything to get out of Cincy (is signed thru this season only). Very solid CB which would jump ahead of anyone on TNs depth chart..

^^^ And another team will give him A LOT more money than we'd be willing to. Top corner on the market always gets more than he should.

We're all upset and disappointed at the way this season has played out. I'm sure most fans agree that the team is in need of some significant changes which needs to start at the top with the coach. But be reasonable here. We need a new coaching staff and a new QB, which is no small order to be sure. But beyond that, the team isn't that terrible. There is still a lot of talent on the roster, there are just a few serious issues that need to be addressed.

The Titans need to bolster up the O and D lines. Get rid of Amano and Scott, or at least get some guys to compete and pressure them. Having Morgan next year will help the D-line and otherwise, we could really benefit from adding a big run-stuffing DT to join Jones and Brown who are often injured. I also like Ringer and think he runs hard and makes the most of his opportunities, but the Titans have really missed a guy like LeGarrette Blount. I don't necessarily want Ringer gone, but I'd love to have a bruiser like Tolbert from the Chargers (in that mold, I don't think the Chargers will let him hit the market). If the team addresses the problems with the lines, I think we'll see a lot of improvement in other areas as well.

Well, to be fair, that doesn't get Chris Johnson yards... if we had a bigger/Power back... then we'd get yards that way.

    Otherwise, I agree.

im my opinion stabiltiy at qb is what we need.i like vince and want him to come back and atleast compete for his job back.we are really young and need to continue to develop players.i cant beleave some of the hate on tulloch its not his fault they put him in bad situations.hes 2nd in the nfl in tackles and only 25 and you wanna give up on him.ill just add my list of players that need to go.....hope,amano needs to go back to gaurd and move harris over to center(i dont know whey they changed to begin with)collins so maybe vince can actually feel comfotable with his job.other than that we need to just add depth im happy with the other guyz.

now positons we need to improve is o-line,dt,depth at linebacker, backup qb,we need a power back, and better depth at both saftey spots.

The problem with the thought "After Fisher is gone we need..." is the fact that we don't really know what we will need after Fisher is gone. A new head coach is going to bring in players that are going to fit his scheme.

List of coaching candidate that this board has produced:
    Jim Harbaugh
    Mike Holmgren
    Bill Chower
    Jon Gurden
    Ron Rivera
    Rob Ryan
    Wade Phillips
    Greg Williams

Four of those coaches have used the 3-4 defense for a good chunk of thier careers. What's to say that they wouldn't try to move Tennessee in that direction?

That being said no matter what scheme we are in we need to completely rebuild the middle of our OLine. Find a replacement for Hope. Find a big DT to anchor the middle of our DLine (in the 3-4 this would need to be a 325+ space eating NT as opposed to the Suh/Hanyesworth style needed for the 4-3)
