Mcnabb has never been a high completion rate guy his career rate is 59% and he has never been a great downfield passer his career yards per attempt is 6.9.

What has made him a top 10 QB is that he has been so good at taking care of the football. His career TD to int rate is 2-1 and he has been acceptable in terms of fumbles.

Now he is fumbling more and has more ints 15, than TDs 14.

What was once his strongest asset is no more at least this year and we all know he is no longer much of a runner.

Honestly Kerry Collins is about as good as Mcnabb at this point in his career. I would pass on him.

No thanks, IMO I don't think the answer to our QB concerns is in free agency. Do we need a stop-gap in the meantime?.. sure, but I don't think McFlab is the way to go.

    I don't like the idea.

McNabb will be 35 next year. Not worth the money, won't be a long term fix.

A sack of potatoes is better than Collins. Actually it's the same. Either way, McNabb would be a step up from where we are.

I think McNabb would be an upgrade over Collins, but he's not going to be the future QB... and I don't see him looking to be a backup. I don't think we should bring anyone in that doesn't have a shot at becoming the starter. Doesn't mean it will happen, but I think we should be able to find someone that could take the reins.

"he's a class QB that Vince could learn a lot from."
Vince has had McNair and Collins to learn from, it's pretty clear he does not want to learn anything.

Maybe but Collins is a backup and Mcnabb is supposed to be a top 10 franchise QB.

Seems that too many posters here don't understand the difference.
