Vince would be playing with an injury right now, if it weren't for Fisher jacking him around. Do you remember why VY was mad? It was because he wanted to play hurt, but Fish wouldn't let him. This non-sense needs to stop.

The steelers allowed Big Ben to go out there...

Are we absolutely certain that Jeff Fisher and co would have done the same for VY? Otherwise we're just assuming that VY doesn't want to go out there hurt. Isn't this part of the reason why VY was upset after the skins' game?

Let's compare the toughest QB in the league to VY, and **** on VY when he isn't as tough as him! Yeah that's fair. Who's your favorite titan SEC? I'll make an unfair comparison and make him look like an inferior player too. Besides we don't know the full story behind VY's injuries and if he wanted to play or not. And what about that Chris Johnson, after twisting his ankle against the Ravens he just sat there on the sidelines! Why didn't he play through it?! Release him!!

I am absoutly certain that if VY praticed and went to the install meetings with his various boo-boos then he would play. Fact is when VY has a boo-boo he finds something else too do other than go to meetings and pratice for the game. Argue it all you want but hes an immature baby when dedication to the team is an issue. Would not be tolerated in NE/Pitt/Indy/ect... should not be tolerated in Tennessee

good point regarding CJ and the PO game. My understanding is he tried to cut on it and he could not so he sat out the rest of the game. Unsure if it was CJ or the doctors who made that decision.

He was mad because he couldn't grip a football. This is less about the thumb tendon and more about the leg pulls, strains, over extensions, EC. VY doesn't shake off minor injuries. This thumb injury was a season ender. You can not just buddy tape a thumb. It's too integral. VY was likely mad because he was in denial. Whatever the case may be, the dude has a few screws loose. It's pretty atypical for a player, let alone a quarterback to launch his gear into the stands and go on to have a verbal confrontation with his head coach. Now there's plenty that I can be unhappy with Jeff Fisher about. He's not challenged things. He's punted away balls I felt he should go for or even fake given the timetable left in the game. He's had his coordinators play too much zone and run CJ inside too often. The non-utilization of Moss is a concern of mine. I'm not seeing creativity from him. However, one thing I refuse to knock him on is his handling of VY. VY is not the type of leader that wins championships in the NFL. The guy is fragile; physically as well as emotionally. He doesn't have thick enough skin and I think Fisher has done well to remain patient with him for 5 years.

So, Fisher jacks VY around? Is that what Fisher was doing when VY was late or absent to meetings, particularly before that Pittsburgh game?

Buddy, you need to look at the big picture. VY is a overly emotional man child. Name one quarterback starting in the NFL that has tried to pull himself out of a game. VY has done it more than once. Vince Young had to be persuaded to return to the field in that playoff game against the San Diego Chargers. If you take all of these little incidents and happenings and compile them a Pacman Jones kind of picture develops. It's been 5 years. Just like 16 years might be too long for Fisher 5 years of this crap is enough.

For what it's worth, I like #31. I'm sure I can make much better #31 jokes than you. After that last incident it's pretty easy. What the hell kind of unfair comparison are you going to make? He's a short, black, Irishman. No wonder he wants to fight. But hold up, Big Ben is a quarterback. VY is a quarterback. It's apples and apples isn't it? What is so unfair? One guy fakes injury and the other plays with a broken face and fractured foot. Remember VY's hamstring this time last year? Really didn't show in the game versus Miami did it? What about when he was getting killed during week 1 of 2008 against Jacksonville? Before he was actually hurt he tried to bench himself.

That just shows you how weak this guy truly is mentally. He doesn't need Fisher to bench him when he tries to do it himself. What the hell kind of quarterback has to be persuaded to play the 2nd half of a playoff game? Whatever. Go follow VY to his next team if he can get on one.
