The colts rushed 32 times for 87 yards (2.7 yards per carry). How is Donald Brown's 15 rushes for 38 yards and no tds a career day? Unless you meant James' 17 carries for 49 yards and 1 td which isn't much better.

I'm sorry, but I am going to have to STRONGLY disagree with your statement about Fisher losing the game for us. Surely, Hope nor Washington helped the situation, but the punt KILLED us. I mean, the last thing you are suppose to do is give Peyton the ball, especially since you have the BEST RUNNINGBACK in football and only 1 yard to go. You can run the percentages all you want, but when it comes to Peyton the percentages get skewed. TERRIBLE call by Fish. In addition, Fish made no attempt to get Moss on the field with Britt. That alone should get him fired. How do you have Gage playing infront of Moss is beyond my comprehension. Again, Fisher kills the game.

Agreed... Fisher goes all season saying that our D is too much on the field because there are to many 3rd and two or 3rd and one and these are easy plays to convert by the opposing offenses and he chooses to give the ball back to "THE" Peyton Manning because he fears our Offense can't convert one single yard on a AVERAGE defense!?!

The two PI calls in the red zone were killers. The snap over the punters head was the other. Those three plays lost the game IMO.

Hope played poorly at times and Finnegan can't cover but those 3 games made the difference.

Why is it that when Kerry doesn't throw to Moss Fisher has no problem with it. When VY didn't throw to Moss he was pissed because Vince wasn't looking for him. Fisher was mad because someone wasn't looking for Moss and yet he can't figure out a way to even get Moss and Britt on the field at the same time.

I'm telling you if we couldn't win tonight as depleted as the colts are then I have a hard time believing we win another game.

Then again if Hope or Griffin had actually made a tackle on that Garcon play vs. country line dancing with him for 3-4 yds, it would have looked like a brilliant idea to punt and get the ball back with 3 mins only done 6.

That play was critical. Hope was just flat out pathetic last night, how Griffin whiffed as Hope was missing that tackle is baffling, I've seen it on replay 10x today and it's more and more baffling every time I see it.

All those other things mentioned were big as well, Britt's fumble (although he was fighting to turn that into a really big play so gotta give him credit for that), the bad snap and Kern's pathetic attempt to pick the ball up on the bounce, the ridiculous PI on Griffin (no way was that PI), Hopes PI (that one was !), drops by Nate and Britt at critical times, the holding call on the first play from scrimmage (on Big Country I think), and finally failure to go for it on 4th and 1. All those things just build and build and lead to failure as we see.

Didn't help that they allowed one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL run right over them up the middle on FOURTH AND FOUR!!! I mean...our LBs are just not good.

It has occurred to me that the players have adopted their esteemed leader's work habits-do as little as you can get by with in practice, depend on your innate 'athleticism', and blame the coach when things don't go as you thought they should have. Fisher's telling the interviewer before the game that they had a 'good practice' implies that they have not had them in the past. And obviously, that is the case. But just as obvious is the fact that ONE good practice can't make up for all the poor ones in which they didn't put forth the effort necessary to learn how to tackle, how to catch a pass, and how to suck it up and get mean. Just like their leader. Yes, the game has passed Fisher by, but the players, following their leader, never showed up to play a full season of smashmouth football. Like Vince, most of them are weak in spirit, and nothing Fisher does is going to change that. jmo

During two of the punts I really felt like they were going to be fake punts. Then I forgot I was a Titan fan and this isn't preseason. Was this not a Do or Die situation?
