I know he played Pro ball, and did some things at Michigan, but it's hard for me to imagine him turning away the Titans if we called with a $5M offer. He'd be walking into a great situation with the Titans. I want him as our new coach, I like what he's about.

I feel there are many teams that could be interested in him...

    Carolina
    S.F.
    Houston
    Jacksonville
    Cincy
    Minny
    Finally, fingers crossed, Tennessee

I don't see now he could pass up 5 mil per year, plus control. The guy has turned Stanford completely around in what, three or four years. It's not like Stanford gets the best talent, they are smart kids that are generally less talented than some of the bigger programs. This really speaks well of his coaching ability in my eyes.

How is that exactly? This team is a mess.

He'll go to Michigan assuming Rich Rod is fired.

The direction of our team right now could EASILY be turned around with ANYONE other than Fisher.

We need a coach to inspire the players and get the best out of them. Someone like Pete Carrol or Jon Gruden.

Just my 2 cents, unadjusted for inflation.

I'm honestly scared to death of this offseason. I'd like to have Harbaugh but there's other guys I wouldn't mind either. If Bud Adams attempts his stupid plan of "lets get Fisher and Young on the same page for next year" it's going to be a complete disaster. Even worse if we pass on a good QB in the draft. Honestly, this plan of Buds, if it goes through, could set this team back so many years it's not even funny. The good news throughout this mess is that Bud said that before last week so since then he's seen 2 pathetic efforts put on by this team so hopefully he'll be thinking, "Well maybe it is time to let Fisher go." And come February, or whenever Vince's roster bonus is due, we don't give it to him.

To be perfectly honest with you, while I wou ldnt be all out opposed to a franchise QB being drafted, I dont think there will be an elite one that hasnt been just over hyped we can grab for a few years. The best we can doo is keep drafting projects and hope we strike gold.

Until college teams havve restocked on prime draft QB meat.
