Okay, now I need to step in. I knew you were an FIU alum or something of that nature. And I promise, you don't know more about FAU than I do (I'm the broadcaster).

First off, Rusty was a sixth rounder, not seventh.

Secondly, FAU does not suck. We were the fastest start up program in NCAA HISTORY to make and win a bowl game. And it was almost all due to Rusty Smith. He single handedly brought relevancy to our program and was unstoppable for most of his time.

I understand that you're a bitter rival; after all, FAU is now 8-1 all time against FIU and has embarrassed them on a pretty regular basis. But as a Titans supporter, you should get behind Rusty, or at least give him a chance.

Heck, if he went to FIU, people might know what that school was.

Nothing against him, but I really hope he sucks it up and we lose the rest of our games so maybe just maybe Fisher will actually finally be gone. One can hope right?

I've had to take it a few times, in the military and for civilian jobs. I do ok on it. Its only like 15 mins and it is dirt cheap so places like too use it.

Thank you! This is right on the money! Rusty will turn up, be prepared, learn from his mistakes and try his best. I like that and I like it a lot. Time for this team to get serious and Rusty seems serious to me.

I also liked how he clapped and high fived the special teams after the FG. This cannot be bad either. I am in a wait and see mode.

How is that? That is exactly what some of us are saying.

Brady was a 6th rd pick, Hasselback and Mark Brunell were 5th rd picks. It's not impossible that he could be a good player like that but the odds say he probably won't.

As for Florida Atlantic they play in the sun belt conferance with MTSU. Every year they play MTSU, Troy, La Monroe, La Lafayette, Arkansas State. The idea that poor Rusty has had to play against superior opposition is BS. Yes they do play a couple of big teams(Texas and Mich St this year) but most of their games are against comparable opposition.

If he makes good decisions and makes accurate throws he should complete 60% of his passes against those teams.

How does 3 for 9 with a 19 passing rating translate over a whole game?

He was picked once on sunday but could have been picked 1-2 more times. That in just 9 pass attempts.

    We are in serious trouble!

So you honestly think he gives us a shot at winning an NFL game?

Most importantly though, I just wish he shaves off that stupid chin fluff beard. :)
