Nobody is getting fired (Bud speaks on VY/Fisher)

I was listening to the Washington Redskin radio broadcast. They said clearly several times that VY was warming up on the sideline and was throwing the ball well. They said he had zip on the ball. They were more than surprised that VY did not go back into the game... I had the feeling then that Fisher was being typical Fisher where VY was concerned, using any excuse not to play him. Did anyone else see VY throwing?

 

they were just scared of "the Rifle" - understandable. I would want VY checking down rather that "the Rifle" looking downfield if I was a skin tool.

 

mortensen at halftime basically said that VY is probably done as the titans QB after next year if fishers the coach...and he said Young is the persona non Grata in the faculty right now

 

Can't say that surprises me. I'm sure Bud has a sleeping bag at his house for Vince though.

 

That is the complete opposite of what Mike Keith said during the Titans broadcast. He said he was clearly having issues.

 

Bud... it's not gonna happen. We all know you love Young but sometimes the owner has to decide to accept a buyout especially when all the members of the board and the CEO want you to.

That's my analogy.

I don't think this team will be able to turn the corner and win anything of significance until the ownership changes hands. The decision to keep VY is gonna destroy this team I fear. Does anyone know anything about his successor? Is it his son who takes over after Bud passes or what?
