Pretty clear cut to me. He basically is saying "get over yourselves and go win me that Super Bowl Ring. I don't care if you don't like each other, you have to work together, because I'm the owner and I say so".

And this is why Jeff Fisher is the way he is.

He knows he can do whatever he wants- and keep his job.

Fisher just lost us two games in a row because of his massive ego. How many more games will we lose?

Interesting. Of course, I don't think you've thought this through --

So to take this further -- what do you do as the CEO if this long time Trusted Manager had only shown growth and increased revenue when using a specific Creative Employee (i.e. Mad Men :brow:). So the only time that this Trusted Manager has created any growth over the past 4 years was at your own (the CEOs) behest. The only time the team had creative success was when you mandated that the same trusted manager use the specific creative employee. Now this specific employee isn't a cookie-cutter employee and his methods aren't within the box/normal. At the same time when compared to his peers he continues to grow as a creative consultant, the other teams respond to his presence and improve their work as well, and the team as a whole brings in more revenue and has more success.

What do you do in the CEO's spot? The Creative Employee is having issues with not being included on more projects by your Trusted Manager. The CE is acting petulantly and is abrasive to the TM, but at the same time the business is about money and the CE is bringing it in. You've noted to the Trusted Manager that the team needs to grow and improve revenue, using this specific Creative Employee and despite these directions the Trusted Manager has used any opportunity to use other obviously lesser creative talent - losing recurring revenue and market share.

Do you cut loose the Creative Employee bringing in the money (wins) to alleviate the burden that he puts on the Trusted Manager? Do you cut the Trusted Manager who has been less than average without this Creative Employee at his disposal and hasn't shown an ability to hold ground without the CE, much less take control of market share?

Now this is all taking place with a labor lockout coming soon, but you as the long time Trusted Manager (despite your own faults) would tell the CEO to F@@k off.......manage this prima-donna/Diva yourself.

Really? You don't think the CEO would just say No worries - send you on your way and replace you? You don't think that it would not only provide the CE with a new creative spark, but also gives the CEO a prime chance to give him a severe discussion about the next head rolling being his own?

I'm going to go ahead and say you'd do nothing of the sort. I think you'd tell the CEO thanks for the support and that you'd do more to get that market share and you'd go back to being the Trusted Manager instead of the Former Trusted Manager filing for unemployment.

I think Adams basically sticking with "his" QB over the Head Coach has made Fisher's job untenable. He'll leave at the end of the season in my opinion.

Report: Titans owner Adams urges harmony (AP)

Titans owner Bud Adams isn't choosing between his quarterback or his coach. He has told both Vince Young and Jeff Fisher to "get this thing settled" and work together. The Tennessean reported Monday that Adams has talked to all involved and told them to get back to work. Young bolted the stadium after exchanging words with Fisher after a 19-16 overtime loss to Washington on Sunday in...

Ok...let me clarify my stance before I ask the question. I am not necessarily on Fisher's or VY's bandwagon. I have cheered both of them when we have played well and criticized them both when we have stunk.

That being said...everyone that wants a new HC...who the heck do you think is going to come in and put up with VYs antics and suddenly have the sun shine down and all will be good in Titan land??

The biggest mistake Bud made was making ANY comment on this situation at this point in the season. Personally, I think its been one of the reasons VY has not made any real efforts to grow the freak up. Why should he care what Fisher thinks?? He can act like a child...disrespect the HC in front of the entire team and walk out and state it as such...and what does Bud do??? Basically guarantee VY is the QB in 2011. So now Vince can sit around and snicker that the HC basically has no power over him cause Uncle Bud has his back.

Stupid move by Bud and no matter what scenario you use to relate this to a real world business a huge mistake.

Fisher wont come back next year, no point in coaching if the owner gives you no power to get rid of a baby QB.
