I think your QB is bottom 1/3 in the NFL, that's not getting the job done

I'm sorry, but no, they don't have the talent... Other than Johnson, none of those guys are in the top-10 at their position... Most specifically, QB... This is a QB driven league, and I got love forVince, but he still has a lot to prove at this level... Here's the thing, when you see Vince make a really nice throw, it comes as somewhat of a surprise... Meanwhile, if you see Manning, Brees, Brady, etc, attempt that same throw, you're only surprised if it doesn't hit the receiver squarely between the numbers...

At WR, you got a bunch of #3's, with 1 or 2 who have the potential to become a decent #2... Scaife is a decent TE, but in a league full of really good TE's, he's probably middle of the pack at best...

The titans defense is solid and full of good players, some very good, but again, there's no elite players on that defense...

I see most around here lay everything at the feet of Fisher, and I must admit I was surprised when I heard that Fisher has only has 6 winning seasons, but you guys went 13-3 with a team that most considered a to have at best, 9-7 talent.... And even after a start that virtually eliminated any chance at the playoffs (which Fisher must also take some of the blame for), the team continued to play hard and inspired.....

When was the last time the Titans even had the most talent in their division? Its been a long long time... So when you look at it that way, 6 winning seasons doesn't seem so bad... Aside from that, the secret to the Titans success, lies in Fisher's 'stache... Its gotta be the 'stache... Top-10 'stache in all of sports, best I've seen since Dave Tippet...

But then again, what do I know, not as much as I think I'm sure....

Michael Ross, Michael Griffin, Cortland Finnegan aren't top 10 at their position? lolwut? Even Jason Jones and Stephen Tulloch are arguably top 10 at their positions, stop hating. Who is trying to compare VY to the elite QB's of the NFL?

WR we suck at, but Britt is already a #2 on most teams, and has potential to be a pretty solid #1 if he puts it all together.

Our defense is made to not have any elite players, as a tandem it's played elite this year wouldn't you say? You're only as strong as your weakest link as they say...

I don't hate as much on Fisher as everyone else so I'm not going to really comment on that since I agree mostly.

Honestly I think you're underrating our players and overrating our coaching right now, but I can see where you're coming from.

Then why is our record better than 24 nfl teams in that time then?

The dumbest most moronic posts seem to be really popular these days so enjoy while you can.

Maybe I was hating just a little...

    You're right about Griffin, he's definitely top-10...

As for Roos, I say he's top-10 if we're talking LT's only, no RT's... For that matter Stewart and Roos are both probably top-10 on their respective sides...

Finnegan is not in my top-10...
    Reevis
    Asomugoah
    Leon Hall
    Aquib Talib
    Rogers-Cromartie
    Bailey
    Woodson
    Newman
    Jenkins
    Brandon Flowers
    Asante
    Jammer
    Trufant

And yes, the Titans defense is among the best in the league...

But yeah, you need great QB play to win it all this year...

Which Roos are we talking about? He's having a Michael Griffin-esque drop-off this year.

I think Fisher is a very good coach. Not great. IMO he is a better coach Tue-Sat than he is on Sun. He regularly gets what appear to be lesser talent to play up to the competition. He knows the rules, yes, and he manages the game well... but I don't think he plays the chess-match during the game as well as he should/could.

I believe in a run-first, pounding offense, aggressive defense mentality. But I also admit that the game has changed. The 3-4 is designed to take away the edges for a RB, and we don't have an answer to that. The rules have made this more of a passing game, and there happen to also be some very good QBs we face regularly... which throws a wrench into the milk-the-clock 4-minute drill we try. 45 seconds ain't what it used to be - most playoff teams see that as plenty of time for a TD now... used to be barely enough for a FG attempt.

We have a great defense. We have a shaky offense. We have a shaky QB, who could PROBABLY be trusted to do more but the coach and OC don't trust him at all. I'd like to see Fisher/Dinger use our weapons better, but I have to admit they haven't given me much confidence to date. Right now we're not a playoff team. VY could settle in. The O line could start to gel. Britt could step up. But right now they aren't.

I liked our weapon usage (or at least feigned attempt) vs Denver. We got Cook and Mariani out there several times, as was DWill out there. We even put CJ back out wide in an actual formation (not just in a lone set like last year's Houston TD). I feel like our players can get out there and make plays it's whether the coaches allow it or not.

If we had the right coaches we could turn this team around big time. Look how Rex Ryan has turned the Jets around. other than Brett Favre a few years ago the Jets were not feared. Now they are a tough team to play.

Rex would love our depressive players , then he would get rid of VY and straighten Britt up. Fisher is just to Soft as a coach. he's only coaching for his own reasons.
