... we miss the playoffs? What happens if we make it to the playoffs, but we do our usual one and done routine?

Fisher has coached 16 seasons with one team and has no Super Bowl wins. Anyone want to bring him back for a 17th? :)

Most NFL games are 60 minutes. Titans games seem to be more like 45 minutes because when the 4th quarter comes around it's time to run, run, run, punt, rely on defense, repeat. It's clear that Fisher will never change his coaching style, keeping his always predictable, conservative play calling intact. He knows that with his style, he will do just enough to get by and stay for another year. I think we're past that point. He's goofed off too long now.

Take the Broncos for example. They had gone 10 years without a playoff win. If we fail to win a postseason game this season that will be 7 years without a single win. If you don't think it's time to make a (major) coaching change, you've lost your mind. Of course, Bud may actually be senile or just too generous to let Fisher go after all these years. From Bud's standpoint, a change may be too late. Not to sound heartless, but the man's days are numbered.

Every team has a second coach at some point or another. Hard to believe the Tennessee Titans have only had one. It's now or never, Fish. Get it done this year or you're gone.

I think Fisher's a good coach but he really needs something to light a fire under his @ss. He's become complacent just like tons of coaches before him. If we don't make the playoffs this year and there is a reasonable candidate available, it's time to move on.

I've always been a fan of Fisher. I think he's a great guy and has done a pretty good job for the most part, but it's time to change if we can't make the playoffs.

With the uncertainty of the CBA, I don't think Bud will fire Fisher except for a complete disaster this season with one more year remaining on his deal. Once the new CBA is in place, then it's decision time.

There may be changes in who is handling the ownership of the team by then. That could also have a big impact. I don't know if the grandson (assuming he'd take over) is a Fisher guy or not.

I think as you. However at the start of the season, I don't think that the PO was a must. We are still a young team

Not fishers fault we have 3 30-40 catch per year receivers on our roster. Its not that he doesnt trust VY.. He doesnt trust our receivers to catch the ball.

If this team falls flat and misses the playoffs, I think I would rather see a quarterback change than a coaching change. I wouldn't mind giving Fisher one more year (with a new QB) to prove he can still win in the NFL.

I would want to know for sure whether his hyper-conservative style is due to the fact that he just doesn't trust Vince at all.

If we fail to make the playoffs then we need to have an organizational overhaul and it needs to start with cutting Fisher and Young. Fisher has been here for 16 years; he has done whatever he is going to do in this league. Young also need to get the boot. The fastest way to turn around a team is to grab a franchise signal caller and every time Young plays a good team he provides evidence that he is not that guy.

Whether we opt to grab a head coach who has been in the league and gone all the way like Gruden, or a young and successful coordinator that has the potential to become an amazing head coach like Shanahan Jr.

Then we need to grab a REAL franchise signal caller (personally I would love us to pull a move like New York and trade up in to the top 5 or 10 picks and grab Locker or Luck, if he comes out.) We might have to grab a veteran guy for a year or two until the guy we grab develops and is ready to play.

Who actually calls the plays in Dinger or Fish?

I wouldn't mind Mike Singletary or Bill Cowher (even tho I hate him, he's still a good coach)...
