Yeah vince clearly doesnt have that ability cause hes never showed it before (sarcasam)! Im pretty sure the cardinals game was a perfect example of how the good he can be when they open it up for him and use all our weapons like hawk, britt, cook, etc..

That's all good but Vince plays second fiddle on this offense and we all know it.

The board is flooded with Vince posts a week ago; he plays perfectly fine today and you're bashed for trying to give him any semblance of credit. This site...

Kudos to DBC for giving Vince some credit. To those who are so critical of Young and his "Inability" to throw a 40 pass/300 yard game you are completely misguided. Vince can throw those types of games BUT we have a STUD running back. Everyone game plans for CJ and are trying to stop him thus we need to open the playbook and let Vince air it out more often like we KNOW he can. He didnt make it to the NFL because he could "manage" the position.

It is actually harder to be successful as a QB in Fisher's system because when you only get 10-20 throws you better sure as hell hope youre accurate and efficient otherwise you will generate NO offense.

I love how Vince played today but i get so nervous because I know he doesnt get many opportunities to throw so he has to capitalize on the few he gets and HE DID today!

If he was allowed to throw all game long and get the occasional pick or two then we would see more of those 2-300 yard throwing games but our Offense doesn't need that right now.

You really think that 20 running plays and 4 passing plays in the first half was a scheme to set up the pass in the 2nd half? :sad2:

And thats fine, but when he only gets the chance to throw 16 times I want 10 completions, 1-2 td and ZERO int.

Well played Vince. Please manage the game like you did 2day and we have a shot.

How old are you? 15 or something? That drive that won the cardinals game was special... I was there. I was ecstatic. It was just one drive. The Cardinals were playing a bend but don't break and they broke. It's hardly indicative of what to expect from Vince. Vince is not in the company of Brees, Manning, or Brady.

He's an ok qb and I like him. I'm just not going to get all googlieyed because he didn't throw interceptions that led to a loss, rather played a clean game. Good for him and the clean game. Good for us... but c'mon... His play was not that big of a deal...What McNair used to do was a big deal.

who's getting bashed? I'm not bashing people for loving Vince. I'm all about giving the guy credit for not losing the game. He did a fine job, for what was asked of him... it's not like he put the team on his back... that's what I'm saying. When we can start debating whether Young is better than McNair... that's when I join in with all the jock riding.

and you know, for the record... I had zero criticism for Young last week. I just put it behind me and said to myself that he'll do better next week... and he did do better.
