What exactly has Mariani done to bring on him these absolutely stupid comments? He has been solid as a returner and more impressive than about 90% of the WRs we drafted over the last 10 years. Actually I think he has a chance to be a slot WR and get significant playing time fairly soon. Your comments are off base, lack any true knowledge of the game of football and each time you comment you only prove you are clueless.

Another time I won't hold back and will really tell you what I think.

 

Carr's expense was not the issue. I advocated keeping him for the price, but it was his demand to be higher on the defensive depth chart that broke the issue.

In my mind, the Titans played him straight up and were honest about his ceiling as a defender. He's been in the league for years, and he's never going to be a better DB. McCourty has passed him by.

The Titans could have said "sure" and lied to him about their intentions, but I have to respect them for the way they did it. Now, not going hard after someone else was on them and Fisher last year, but they didn't have to lie to Carr to have a decent returner, and I'm kind of proud of them for that.

 

I think some people don't realize what having good field position does for the team. Carr was solid, and we were fools for letting him go. Who cares if he sucked at CB, when you have a consistently good returner. Carr's hardly playing CB for the Ravens isn't he?

Money talks, and the Titans could have paid him enough to forget all about more PT at CB.

The FO's foolishness lost them at least one game last year, the Jets. Maybe more, if we could have had better field position.

 

I think he's starting because of season ending injuries.

 

ok, I recant on that part then. I try not to pay attention to the Ravens too much. I actually meant that as a question, not sarcasm. I figured he'd get more snaps because their DB situation is bad news.
