Michael Griffin AFC South High Energy Player of the Week

Good find. That's a nice weekly addition to highlight player performance.

 

Very happy he's back.

 

I got to watch the game and Griffin was impressive.

I'll stop calling Griffin a girl if he keeps playing like this. He seemed like he grew a pair over the offseason.

 

He definitely looked like he was flying around the field with reckless abandon the way he did his rookie year when he was covering kicks.

I was genuinely impressed the whole game.

 

He knows he has to come back strong. I really would like to see Griffin signed to an extension here. 2011 is his last season.

 

Apparently he had some personal issues going on last year that affected his focus.
Glad it's behind him. He looked impressive.

 

With the injuries to other DB's last year, MG had to much responsibility for player who had other things on his mind. With a full contingent of vets and some good rooks, MG can just do his job. And this team definitely needs it's DB's to play at a high level to bring the defense up to Titans standards.
If MG's performance continues it's going to be a fun year.
