I pay him based only on production. Amount of snaps, tackles, pressures, etc.

Please tell me this is a joke! Fal Albert is damaged goods, I'm really going to be pissed if we give up anything to get this lazy pile on our team. What many of us feared would happen actually happened, he got his huge contract now the lack of motivation and nagging injuries arise all over again. Our D-line is pretty strong, I just can't see why doing the Skins a favor and signing this worthless pile would help us in any way. I guess by having him play at half speed and getting hurt constantly would be an upgrade right?

It's way, way harder than you make it sound. First of all, Jackson wants a ridiculous amount of money. If it was possible to sign him to a reasonable contract, he would have been traded a long time ago. The Titans aren't about to sign a player who is one strike away from a year-long suspension (Jackson already has multiple DUIs) to a contract that will pay him more money than pretty much every other WR in football.

Also, you can't just swap Justin Gage for a 3rd round pick and call it even. Not even close to equal value.

Fisher: Happy with D-line as is.

Titans Coach Jeff Fisher remained tight-lipped Tuesday afternoon regarding the possibility of defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth returning to the Titans.

"I’m not commenting on that," Fisher said. "I’m more concerned about Oakland as I’ve said on the record. There’s all kinds of speculation going around this time as far as trades are concerned."

"We’ve got great numbers," Fisher said. "We’re probably going to have to deactivate one or two for the game that could play so we’re in good shape."

If he is not commenting, that means they're definitely interested.

Definitely, before he said that he wouldn't comment on a player under contract now he's changing his tune just enough to shed some light on the situation. He didn't totally shoot the idea down like he did before and that tells me that this is in the works.

Sounds to me like this deal is more likely gonna happen than not. I may be wrong but my logic tells me that if we get AH back our problems at LB and DB don't seem as bad.

Agreed but after we just picked up two scrub LB's and let Blount walk to Tampa.
