Who likes M. Mariani

Me too and not just because of the 83. He runs a lot like Drew. And is a lot stronger than he appears to be. What I really like about him is that he hasn't looked apprehensive when returning, he hasn't pussed out like many young guys do.

 

Marc Mariani doesn't sleep. He waits.

Yeah, that's all I remember about PacMan trying to return punts his first season. Muffs galore.

 

I get so damn tired of people who seem like they have the compare guys based on race that is so shallow and stupid!

Marc Mariani is nothing like Drew Bennett! Nothing! He is 4 inches shorter, ran a 4.48 40 vs 4.60 and he returns punts and kicks something Bennett never did returns.

Bobby Wade is the obvious comparison.

And for crying out loud they don't run alike Mariani has a shorter stride for obvious reasons..

Hawk is way better then Mariani.Right now before and he will be after.
All Mariani is gonna do is take a spot from someone who we really need.

 

You continue to ignore the return skills of Mariani we have desperately needed for a long time. I like Hawk too, but put it in perspective dog, he has had his chances and Mariani is going to contribute immediately which Hawk certainly did not do. I still like Hawk though! It's not like it's necessarily one or the other anyway. I hope the crows are tasty down there in central America.

Plus you missed one thing, of all the WRS he has the best hands on the whole team.

He is currently the best WR in pre-season..

thank goodness he is also the best returner we have otherwise those coaches would waive him

 

This is typical talk that Mariani has heard his entire football career. I actually kind of think it's funny, because he always comes out on top and plays better then anyone thinks he can or should. In the end, the nay sayers always eat crow. It won't be any different here on the Titans.

As far as taking a spot from someone we need, that is just a ridiculous statement. What we need is someone who can catch the damm ball and be consistent on returns. THAT'S what we need.
