How many yards did CJ get on the drive after the callback?

Hmm... I think Hall and Johnson both should get a free kick to Hochuli's balls.

To be truly fair about possibly ruining Johnson's chance at "immortality" and Hall's feelings of craptitude for thinking he was the reason for Johnson missing his chance.

I don't give a chit if Hochuli is sorry. Show me an investigation of his personal and his friends/family's bank accts and betting histories.

These apologies are nothing more credibility "PR" moves by the league. Put some teeth in it to make a believer out of me.

I agree...NFL, nay all sports need to start holding Ref's more accountable for their mistakes.

Granted sometimes call are made in the heat of the moment, and are complete mistakes....but these are really starting to add up. I dont get how none of these Ref's get reprimanded in any sort of ways with repeat offenses?

Why are they being suspended without pay? Fined, or hell even fired? Im sure in most of the forums members here career lines...if you were constantly making mistakes you wouldnt be keeping your job long would you?

Edit: Sorry didnt see the rest of the blog, that stated that Hoch missed out on a big playoff game....which in turn means he missed out on probably a big paycheck.

I'm all for people saying "my bad" but this particular call was a huge set back in CJ's run for the record books. If he's really sorry, great...if he's only sorry because he missed out on officiating in some playoff games...hmmm. These refs may be part time, but I'm pretty sure they still get paid.

There's not too many occupations that are improved if you only work them part-time.

I'm going to go ahead and say that CJ had at least 30 yards rushing after the 62 yarder was called back. So, he still would've needed around 70 more yards to break Dickerson's record... wouldn't have happened.

would have gotten an additional posession, and CJ is always 1 play away from going all the way
