When I see and hear Lame-O Kiffin, I want to break his face. And I'm not even sure why, I don't care much about him stealing our RB coach. Guess he just has one of those faces.

The only reason Kiffin is even able to do half-way decently is with his dad bailing him out with great defensive schemes. Monte needs to teach his son a lesson and resign to get him straitened out, or he might end up going down with him

Let's also not forget that Byner got paid every dollar his contract was worth just as if he finished it. While your at it ask Byner if he wanted to coach RB's at Tennessee for free. You work to make money. He made ALL his money that he was due. Let's try to understand the employer/employee contract system our country has in place. The Titans had every right to let Byner go as long as he was paid for the length of his contract. Pola did NOT have the right to leave his contract and has made money without ever stepping onto the field with the teams best employee at RB.

I just read where Titan fans are already waiting in line at the stadium box office for single game tickets that go on sale this Saturday...I'm sure they're out in the heat because of the Titans PR plan to sue USC...

Fisher got burned when he chose Pola over Byner. Byner didn't want to leave the organization. I don't understand your logic in pulling in the contract issue. Pola wasn't under Titan's contract when Fisher fired Byner.

I know the Titan's always sell out- that isn't the type PR I'm talking about. I'm talking about expanding the Titans brand/interest into the UT crowd. I'm also talking about Fisher and the organization using this as an opportunity to re-direct some attention away from their own responsibility in this affair. These aren't my original thoughts, they have been published by many others already.

Let's just say that this goes to trial and we end up winning the case and it is found that USC through Kiffin did induce Pola to breach his contract, what happens then?

Do we get money out of USC? I'm not familiar with how this kind of thing plays out.

It's a civil case. The way I understand, IF this goes to a trial rather than mediation, the Titans could receive treble (triple) damages and a punitive award from the defendants (USC and Kiffin personally). The Titans would have to seriously prove that they somehow took a financial hit from Pola's departure. Perhaps they could collect the monies already paid to Pola or collect his entire contract times 3. I highly doubt this case will ever see a jury. It'll be settled or dropped.
