    Wonder why Pola isn't named in the suit? He's the one who breached the contract. The new USC AD (Pat Haden) is a lawyer too, he's gonna have fun with Bud on this one. Fisher just screwed up his alumni status.

    It's actually pretty tacky for the Titans to do this. How many times over the years have college coaches been poached by the NFL.

    Actually, losing a coach ONE FRIGGIN week before training camp starts who is under contract obviously p-o'd Titans brass

    Good for them. They obviously don't need the money, so I hope Kiffin goes down in flames! Flames I tell ya, and even more flames!! :hot::flame::flamegun:

    "According to the lawsuit, Pola agreed he would “not under any circumstance solicit discussions or entertain employment with any other person or entity during the term without given written permission to do so,’’ under the terms of his contract with the Titans. Pola was not given written consent by the Titans."

    Sounds more like a Pola problem than a Kiffin/USC problem to me. There has to be proof SC knew of this clause first.

    Dang, this sucks, my 2 favorite teams going after each other....sheesh.

    Yet another stupid move by organization driven by money. Just what the ---- (no editing needed TJ :wink: ) do the Titans think they will gain by this move? Pola ain't coming back- the damage is done.

    Oh well- maybe we can intimidate our other coaching staff into understanding they better ask for permission before speaking with other teams- but wait a minute. Pola wasn't named in the suit was he- just USC and Kiffin? What's the difference? Deeper pockets maybe?

    What a stupid move that keeps the organization looking like chumps and creates a distraction during the upcoming weeks/months.
