Dude the next Pro Bowl for the coming season will be in 2011. That's what I was referring to.

You must have a LOT of faith in Keith Bulluck if you think he's going to beat out Patrick Willis and Jon Beason for the NFC Pro Bowl MLB spot.

I'm surprised at most of the reaction on the board. I have no idea if he wanted to finish his career in TN or not, he certainly was popular with the fans here.

He has been one of my favorites since his rookie year. He is smart, plays consistently and presents himself extremely well to the media. He was a great representative of the organization. 2.5 million for one year? Seems like we certainly could have matched or beat that in an uncapped year for a proven veteran who was an excellent role model for younger players. We probably are in for another 2004-05 run. I don't see anybody on the roster who can replace his maturity and defensive leadership.

This move is just another indicator that this organization will jettison any player regardless of past history and that "value" is the guiding priority as long as the price isn't greater than the vet minimum.

Good luck Keith. I sincerely hope you have a rewarding year in NY.

ps- I have 4 children. One day after TC, Bulluck was signing autographs and I had 4 hats for him to sign. He would only sign 2 stating that he had other people's stuff to sign. He said he would come back to sign others after he finished if I was still there. I could tell he was sizing me up to see if I was some kind of e-bay vendor or something. I always respected him for signing the other kids stuff there before coming back. He's that kind of guy.

I'll miss Keith just like I missed Eddie, Steve, Derrick, Jevon, and all the rest. I'll watch more Giants games than I ever would have otherwise. But it's time to change now. Youth movement on defense. The coaches earn their money this year or they'll be out.
I grew up a Giants Fan, so this could be worse for me.
Good luck to "Mr. Monday Night".

Amen to that. This one hurts. We're crazy for not bringing him back, especially considering how weak we are at LB. I wish Keith all the best and hope he comes back full strength. But I still hate the Giants. Thanks for all the big time plays and all the great memories Keith. Best of Luck to ya.

We must really believe in the LBs we have. We've got a bunch of garbage players here and it might get even weaker if we end up cutting Thornton. I would assume that Witherspoon and Tulloch will start but who's the other starter gonna be?

I'm kind of tired of how our organization dumps the guys that give their heart and soul to the organization and city. Yeah it's business but some businesses take care of their workers and still make money..

Absolutely huge particularly in this uncapped year. Plus 2.5 million might've bankrupted us. And we could never even consider signing any free agent for the next decade.

Or, maybe he just felt he wanted to play "close to home."

Either way I wish him well.

Except against the Titans, of course. :grrhee:
