    Nice retort guys, genius!

First of all i'm not sure what gloat is talking about re coaching change. He made a comment that simply was not true.

As for Andy Reid vs Jeff fisher? Reid has a better record than 29 other teams so what is the point? Reid also had Mcnabb for basically that whole time and for almost the whole time he had one of the elite D-coordinators.

Given that we are talking about a 10 year period when we had a wasted season from injury in 2004, a cap hell season in 05 and had to play a rookie QB in 06 our record looks pretty good.

How many teams with worse records than ours have won a super bowl in that time? None?

I noticed the seahawks were just 14th despite having Mike holmgren as their coach every year but one, last year. He coached there from 99 to 2008.

It's interesting to see the Titans are still 8th when looking back, I feel as if most of the decade they were nowhere near a top tier team. That 13-3 season, IMO, a fluke. Look at all that's gone wrong, like RollTide mentioned, the cap hell in 05, VY in 06, injuries in 04, our Top 10 pick getting suspended in, 07 or 08 (sorry, it's early). Overall, I think Fisher's done a damn good job.

And Andy Reid, really? Eagles fans have wanted him fired for about the last five years. Ever since their debacle in the Super Bowl and T.O. deal, fans have wanted Reid out. I'd take Fisher over any other coach in the league right now. Hands down.

    interesting contradictions there Adam.

you feel we were nowhere near a top tier team most of the decade and that 2008 was a fluke. Yet you think Fisher has done a damn good job.

Holy crap Bud saved his job twice by telling him who to play.

I would rather see Rolltide as our head coach this year than Fisher. I'm sick of his predictable offense, defense, suckass special teams and dumbass play terrible experienced players whiloe young talent sees their contracts expire while riding the bench.

If I had told you at the beginning of that season that Young would be benched and Kerry Collins would lead us to a 13-3 record and start 10-0 you would of laughed at me. Simply laughed. I don't think anyone expected the Titans to have that kind of success that season. Maybe the term "fluke" isn't the right way to say it, I meant to say it in a way that it was very unexpected.

I think the predictable offensive scheme slowed once Hemeirdinger (I know that's spelled wrong) came back to OC. He's a big reason CJ hit 2000 last year (well that and force feeding him in the last couple of games). Although, I will agree that over the last two seasons or so, Fisher hasn't been nearly as on top of his game as he has in the past, I still think he's one of the best coaches in the game. He's got a knack for drafting very well. Well, him and the rest of the front office that is.

Also, every one of those teams have had more talent than the Titans. Belichick and Dungy are great coaches but what seperates them from Fisher is Manning and Brady. It's that simple. End of story. We have had 1 HOF player in the past decade and that was a O lineman(Bruce Mathews)

Andy Reid has been to 4 championship games and 1 superbowl and his record makes Fisher look like a chump. But yet andy reid sucks because he had McNabb and good D coordinator. And Fisher is god because he did it all by himself.

Oh and now its Fisher is better than Belicheck or Dungy because they have Brady and Manning. Damn, guess we shouldn't even try to compete anymore. Just let the Pats/Colts play in the superbowl and shutdown the other 30 franchises.

Shouldn't the coaches be able to make their players better? Otherwise why do they exist? Anyone can call a timeout or let the QB call the plays ...

I think you guys are focusing way too much on the Head Coach doing everything. Head coaches are very important, but at the same time, it's their coordinators that are crucial pieces. If you've got a borderline moron as an offensive coordinator and have him call the plays, I don't care who you have as a head coach, you offense is going to suck. I never said Fisher was the best coach in the league, I merely said if I had to choose one right now, I'd pick Fisher to lead my team.
