Braylon Edwards not suspended....indication on Young?

I'm not expecting any suspension for Vince. Still crossing my fingers he plays every game.

 

first-time offenders don't seem to be suspended unless its something absolutely horrifying like the vick situation, who also lied to the commish during his meeting.

Something I saw in that article & liked was when Goodell said, “I think you have to look at these cases individually and understand them in a way of what are the issues....."

I think that quote points out that Goodell isn't out for everyone's head who screws up. He's actually acting on whats best for both the player involved and the league. Which is good in this case because Vince knows he messed up and has already taken responsibility for it like a Pro would.

 

A Pro would be asleep at 3am instead of having a slap fight with a drunk at a strip club

 

I think Goodell only reacts to public cases, which to me is lame, but I understand it. He's protecting the image and that is half of life's battle. Fix the perceived problem, move on, everyone leaves you alone. If you don't react to the public outrage they will boil you alive. Is thatthe right way to go about it? no. Does it work. Yes. It's life in a nutshell and at times leads to progress, but it's not fair. I think VY was lucky. And I've said it before, Kuharsky was key. Thisw could have gone the wrong way.

I see your point. But he's a grown @ss man, if he wants to go to a strip club or a wh0r3 house even, it's his own damn business. The problem wasn't being out at a club, the problem was letting someone bait him into a fight. That's where he needs to learn when to walk away. So what somebody says something about you, big deal, you gotta brush that stuff off. You gotta be the bigger man and just walk away. So what if people say that you got punked. At least you won't end up in jail or get stabbed or shot because you didn't wanna let somebody punk you.

 

Vince is a punk, I'd have shot that scrub disrespecting me LOL JK. Vince did OK, nothing good or bad really happened so its was just another night.
