If the Titans don't meet his contract demands by the start of training camp on July 31.
"(We're) just not hearing the right things," Johnson said, referring to him and his agent. "Hopefully the more they talk we can hear some more positive things." Johnson's latest comments at least hint that the Titans are willing to negotiate, despite his Tuesday Twitterings that the team had made no overtures.

And he may never hear the 'right things'. I simply can't see the Titans giving him what he wants.

I could say the same about quite a few other players and team front offices.

A business is business. Why do you think we may not have football in 2011?

Chris Johnson reiterated to the Nashville Tennessean on Wednesday that he is unwilling to play the 2010 season at his current salary.

Johnson was tight-lipped in early-afternoon interviews with reporters, but opened up one-on-one with the Tennessean's Jim Wyatt. "I can’t play for $550,000,’’ Johnson said. "... I am getting paid less than the starting 11 (on offense) and I’m one of the lowest paid starting running backs in the league." According to Wyatt, "it's clear (Johnson) is becoming more frustrated."

thats just a freaking joke. that paragraph should read Chris Johnson: "Me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me."

sit out the season AND dont get paid then what are you going to cry about.

Does he deserve more money, yes..........is he entitled to more money, hell no!!!!

A contract is a contract and the terms of that contract should be honored and should not be renegotiated until next year as league rules state.

Yes he's being a big baby he should go out not miss a game due to holdout and prove that CJ2K wasn't a fluke year and that he deserves more money plain and simple.
