Those tweets were lame. CJ is the man, but geeze man.... The grammer was bad enough to be flat out disrespected. To me if he realizes (which he says he does) that this is a business you would think he would try and at least sound professional. I'm all for paying him more, but he is wrong about the Titans not honoring their end of the bargain.

CJ wont be here for long, if he really loved playing for the Titans he wouldnt be saying anything like this. He would keep it private. He has no respect for his self or this team.

IMO he is selfish and would be glad to go anywhere that would make him super rich like Haynesworth. His heart isnt here in TN, i just hope he gives us another good year or so before he heads out.

I just don't understand why a meeting has been set up yet? Fish said he was going to meet up with him....it's the middle of June. Unfortuntaley we are not the same without him in our lineup and he should get paid.

I can see this getting ugly real fast and i want him on the field, i think he has deserved a raise. the jets are at least making offers to revis, we should be doing the same to cj. after this whole VY incident too, and IF he is suspended our season may get off to a slow start.... KFC with Ringer in the backfield????? really? the old goat with a rb who has barely played if at all in the nfl. way different that VY and CJ just sayin!

I am confused...I thought the lack of CBA going into this year meant that the Titans were restricted on what they could do from a contract standpoint with CJ...they are limited on how much they can increase his salary. The only option was that they could give him all the money up front in bonus, which of the course the Titans won't do...no team would just hand over 30 mil in cash like that.

Doesn't CJ and his agent know this as well? I mean, come on...if CJ comes in and even remotely has a year like last year the Titans will lock him up...anyone who says we should trade this guy really wants to return very quickly to celebrating mediocrity...

I'm thinking his agent is doing all the thinking; All CJ understands is that he wants more money than any other player and he's going to hold out until he gets it. His tweets suggests he says what his agent tells him to say.

I think we should at least be making offers to him, the jets are making offers to revis, as we should be making offers to CJ, at least we would be trying to make him happy

The thing is, because of the 30% rule, we simply can't offer him the kind of contract he wants without paying out a ton of money up front. He's going to eventually have to accept that fact and just play one more year under his current deal.
