Looking at the stats from that 2001 playoff game there is one glaring and obvious difference that accounts for most of that 183 yards. Pass attempts.

We had 47 pass attempts to Dilfer's 17.

After we fell behind 24-10 we had the throw the ball and score Tds and some of that yardage difference come then. There was also a 28 yard sack yardage difference where we sacked them 3 times for -32 yards and they sacked us once for-4.

So in short the 183 yards difference in no way indicates that we pushed them around and dominated them. We did have more opportunities and choked big time.

What is your perception of coaches such as Dennis Green,Jim Mora and Mike Ditka?

How would you feel if they were announced as our next head coach?

Those guys are generally percieved as average to poor coaches. Fishers coaching record is almost identical to those guys.

Playoffs? Playoffs??? who are you kidding here. Fisher sucks.

HOF coaches arent told how to coach by team owners....and i'm not sure but isnt fisher's coaching record quite average....

who ever hated on dungy, i think that may be ill advised - his record must be good, perhaps very good - and isnt he the first black coach to win a SB...im sure that counts for something...

I never said they were his fault.

I can't blame Fisher for either playoff loss against the Ravens. I'm not sure where you got the idea that I was blaming him. I said losing games like that is unheard of... doesn't mean I blame him for them.

I'm not sure how jim mora made that list his winning % is .484. Mike Ditka has a super bowl ring and Dennis Green does not.

I think you missed part of the question. The question is IF, IF, IF Fisher won a super bowl would he make the hall. If, if fisher won a title he would do something Dennis green has never done so i'm not sure of the comparison there.

There are coaches in the hall who never won a super bowl and several who won one super bowl. Mike Holmgren won just one SB and he had Bret Favre but fisher with VY and Collins is supposed to win how many before he qualifies?

Even if Fisher won a SB his body of work he might not be worthy unless his body of work from here on were solid. What makes Fisher better than Andy Reid? Guys that make it to the SB and lose or make it to the championship game and lose certainly are ahead of a guy who took his team to the best record in the league and were out in the first game. Bud Grant and Levy made it to SBs multiple times..

While Fisher gets credit for making it to the SB and the Music City Miracle he was one play away from being bumped in the first round in 1999, was bumped in 2000 and of course again in 2008. Those were some darn good teams that never got out of the starting gate and for better or worse the coach has to take the heat.

Another thing not working in Fisher's favor is what major leap in creativity did Fisher contribute to the game? Did he invent a great defense or offense? No he didn't. He has always been noting more than a copy cat with Xs and Os. He is a good coach but not worthy of the HOF.

Are you confusing Mora snr with his son's stats? Jim Mora snr is .541 % career as a coach.

I think Ditka is an idiot who got lucky in winning a SB. The Hershal Walker trade negates any kudos he earned by winning a SB as a coach.

Shanahan has done nothing without Elway. Dungy won one with Manning and the Colts are still strong without Dungy. Seifert inherited a SB calibre team and his entire record of wins is based on his ability to not eff up what was handed to him.

Holmgren might be worthy. He went out and got Favre from the Falcons and turned around a losing franchise in the Seahawks. If he turns around the Browns he should be.

Levy deserved to win a SB and deserves to be in the HOF.

Bill Walsh drafted Montana and traded for Steve Young when no one else wanted him.

Great Coaches find the QB's they need to win.

Not too many coaches have kept their twice jobs because their owner made an executive decision on who to start at QB.

Fisher is not a HOF coach unless he wins two or more SB beforre he retires. He still has time to do it but I can't see it happening.

are Manning, Brady & Brees able to get on the edge and block for CJ? otherwise I fail to see what use Fisher would have for them with his offensive philosophy. lol

And Childress79 Ditka traded for Ricky "stinky" Williams not Herschel Walker, but I get your point.
