I see your point Deuce. Yes, if we would have given him more carries last year--something like 2008--then he would have had much more value. Very true. We also might not have the contract problems with CJ . . . . Good point!

He could of just smoked a pack a day.

All of the hardcore smokers I know are skinny as hell. Sure you could blow them over like a toothpick because they are weak as well. But they are skinny!

I find it interesting that the majority of athletes who are known to smoke weed have often been dissapointments. I can think of very few success stories. Mark Stepnoski is one. Michael Phelps is another. Jabbar a third. But almost all other stories like Tyson, Moss, Webber, Henry, Williams, Wallace, Iverson, Stoudamire, Vick, Strickland ect.. all come up short or they end up making a mockery of their life and never realize their full potential. Even Lincecum does not appear to be himself this year after his bust. And Lendale appears to be a part of that trend. I don't mind if they use, but in my experience it destroys athletic careers. I think Seattle made the right choice. Lendale did not want to be there and that is what led to this mess, but I think the weed would have hurt him in the long run.

Even after Lendale is released by another team and facing a 4 game suspension Duece is still bitter that he didn't get more carries last year.

He showed up at 218 lbs and still got cut. He obviously is using something to take off that weight other than hard work.

As a fatty, Lendale was a pretty good back. Not exceptional, but he moved the chains, was consistent, and was superb around the goalline.

Then Fisher and company go off on LW about needing to lose weight and get in shape. He finally does, and then they never play him.

Oh well, it's not the first career Fisher has ruined.

at what point does lendale white deserve credit for ruining his career? he's the one who wanted to play at almost 280 and he's the one who used some type of banned drug.

i guess pete carroll can take some of the blame for not babying lendale too....

Obviously there is something about his work habits that are detrimental to the team as a whole that superseded what contribution he could make on the field.

Especially when you have a new coach trying to bring guys together and encouraging them to work hard as a team.

A very very interesting time in Lendale's career to screw up. He is just 25 and should have been motivated to get a decent contract next season. He would have made $2M this season for the titans had he convinced them he wanted to play here and work hard. Now he is making $0!
