This is not confirmed at the time I am posting it. It should possibly go in the rumors forum, but it's getting reported by a legit news outlet so I will post it here.

The Seahawks are expected to cut LenDale White on Friday, and in fact a press release was posted on the Seattle Seahawks' Web site a little bit after noon stating White had been released.

The release is no longer posted online, and in fact the content has been deleted, but you can see the headline that appeared via a screen grab of the Google search listed to the right.

The Seahawks have not announced the move formally, and a message left for White's agent has not been returned, but indications are that it was not a mistake and White is going to be released.

Hahaha that is too awesome. For everyone here who criticized the Titans for not getting enough in return for him, can you now admit that the guy is a turd? He is bad on the field and he is bad in the locker room. He must have messed up pretty bad to be released before he even sees the field in Seattle. Drug suspension coming up, maybe?

Either way, I love it. Lendale was always my least favorite Titans and it really bothered me that he came out and said the team would have more wins in 2009 Thif he had played more.

    Wonder what he did?

And regardless, we still underutilized the guy and cheated ourselves in the process.

I'm very shocked to see this so soon after he landed. He tweeted how he just got comfortable like 2 days ago. I hope this doesn't hold water. I like LenDale, and wish him the best. Maybe he can come back, and we can trade C.J. to DET for Kevin Smith... How's that sound Deuce LOL?

haha...well if we traded CJ for KS, we wouldn't have to worry about missing CJ any. He wouldn't get 1k yards in Detroit.

Pete Carroll has no place in pro football.

He's a career loser good for college only. Nothing he does surprises me.

    Seahawks officially release LenDale White
Posted by Michael David Smith on May 28, 2010 4:59 PM ET
The Seattle Seahawks have formally announced the release of running back LenDale White.

And this time they won't be taking it back.

"It became apparent at this time that LenDale was not ready to be a member of the Seattle Seahawks," Seahawks G.M. John Schneider said in the team's statement. "It just did not appear to be the right fit at this point in our program. We wish LenDale all the best with his future."

The Seahawks acquired White in a trade with the Tennessee Titans during the NFL draft.

    Hahaha...

That's crazy. What could he have possibly done that would warrant a release so soon?
