Message to Bud Adams... Please do us all a favor and just sell the Titans to an owner who cares about winning and is not purely about profits.

This whole CJ contract is really bothering me and I just don't understand why Bud Adams won't give him a raise, in good faith, until his rookie contract expires?

CJ is the best back in the NFL and one of the most potent offensive weapons we've seen since perhaps Barry Sanders. We must give him a raise, get him into camp, and get him ready to tear up the NFL again this season. I'm so fed up with Bud Adams' cheapness. This cheapness is going to make CJ very angry with the organization I'm afraid and once he becomes an unrestricted free agent he will sign with another team, I'm certain of it.

I'm not saying make him the highest paid running back or offensive player in the league, I think he has earned a raise however and giving it to him will make him happy and loyal to the team going forward.

Please, someone explain to me why it's OK to give players like Javon Haye, David Givens, Drew Bennett, Justin Gage, Justin McCarins etc... millions when we know they are just below average stop gaps? But it's not OK to give possibly the best player the Titans have had in 20 years a raise?

I'm so done with us paying blow average players millions to come in, take up roster spots and suck while the great players we do have leave because we won't pay them.

Please Bud just sell the team, owning a NFL team shouldn't solely be about the bottom line you have to aspire to make the team a dynasty. In this day an age it requires paying players to retain them.

You really think Bud is all about the money? You don't think he cares about winning? REALLY???

The man wants to win a damn championship. He's a good owner, and he's not going to sell the team. He's with the Titans 'til death.

Once he forced the benching of Collins it was evident he cared about winning. How much, couldn't tell you. But the man cares about winning. it's Fisher who I question. Change "owner" to "coach" and you have something HeadOnASwivel.

The question and the poll are misleading from one another.

Do I think the Titans will do better with a new owner?

Not sure! If the Super Bowl is the ultimate prize, then I don't know how it can hurt to much for him to sell the team. It could always be worse I suppose, but it's been a LOOOOOONNNNNGGGG time since we've had a championship as even a franchise! So it'd be the same as now with + or - a few wins per season or going in a different direction and possibly winning the SB a lot!

But I don't want Bud to sell the team. The guy is like 80+ years old, I'm not real sure. This IS his team! He deserves to be the owner of the Titans IF we when a Super Bowl any time soon.

    Show respect.

The NFL wouldn't be what it is today if it were not for Bud Adams. There wouldn't be a team in Tennessee without him either.

He "made" Fisher switch to VY after 6 games last season, that should tell you something.

I think we need a coaching/philosophy overhaul. I am undecided on MR, however I am not satisfied with draft day / offseason trading.

I agree with JCBRAVE and Alex1939 Fisher is more the problem than Bud. He wants to win a super bowl more than anything especially after the death of his wife.

Any player movement that goes on Fisher is behind the whole thing not Bud Adams. It's Fisher's style of coaching and philosophy that made us the worse 13-3 team in the NFL twice.

Would Bud really want overpaid underachievers on his team if he was calling all the shots?

If Bud didn't care he would not have VY replace Collins after the 0-6 start and he would not have publicly called Fisher and Reinfeldt out in the Tennessean shortly after drafting Derrick Morgan.

Bud can still overrule Fisher and demand or push for high caliber players if it means we have to shell out money. We have money, and yet we sit on it because the whole organization is gun shy thanks to that idiot FR. Pretty pathetic that we're still scared of stuff that happened 5+ years ago.
