I don't love posting on message boards, but I still do it. I can understand where he's coming from.

 

Given what Heyward-bey did last year(9 catches) why would Britt need to know anything about him?

Does he need to have a detailed dossier on every inferior WR in the league?

For a guy who is not interested he sure has produced.

 

Considering Heyward-Bey was the first receiver taken during the same draft, you would think Britt wants to know how other receivers in his draft class are doing... and how much they're being paid.

 

I buy this too. I somewhat recall him saying he knew little about his peers coming out of college. I have no interest in baseball but I am good at it. I can see Britt not being a crazy about working for Fisher. It's true thou, that he won't be great without wanting to be. Manning is crazy about football so he excels, same for Tebow, and anyone really. Michael Jordan is sick because he loves practicing. Iverson never won a ring because he wasn't passionate, so Kenny may simply do it for the money and because it's better than pouring cement.

Figures, we draft another guy playing dress-up as a WR. Luckily Britt is a solid player so far.

 

Apparently this is the problem we've had with our WRs. We keep trying to find guys who love them game too much. They take it too seriously and that causes them to freeze when the ball is in the air.

In comes cool-hand Kenny, who just goes out for a Sunday jog.
