Based on last year I think Mouton or Hood. Mouton showed some promise, just had injury problems that set him back. Hood did well in his limited chances. Not perfect, but he really settled things down in place of Harper.

Mouton has showed nothing at CB. Not even in college. But even if he did- he's hurt 99% of the time, so it'll never matter how good he could be. He won't play.

Hood will probably get the spot. Then Hill. Then McCourtey. Verner could do well in preseason and who knows...

Rod Hood, I think he should and will start,,, atleast on opening day. He had solid production, look at his numbers the few games he was able to play. Say what you will but I think our secondary looked pretty good and had alot better results and success with him in the starting line up.

100% agree. That's the order you have to go with. Proven veterans get the nod first. Hood proved himself last year more than any other CB on the poll. I'm not saying Hill is at all proven, but he still deserves the nod over younger guys like McCourty, Mouton, and Verner.

Out of the group I think Tye Hill has the most potential IF he can stay healthy. The Rams staff turn over after the first year really hurt him I think but he is still a legitimate first round talent and I think about him in a zone scheme I think it is a nice fit cause looking at tape on him he has great instincts and is a solid tackler. IF he stays healthy I look for him to get the spot and the rest fighting for time in the nickel package

If Tye Hill did become the starter (which i doubt he will) it would be crazy for me, because he co-owns a Golden Corral with James Butler (Rams) right across the street from me, and i actually see Tye quite alot.
