It helps us out that Henderson is on the market - not necessarily that we would pick him up. IF it's true that the Skins want to unload Al, and I think we all agree they would be lunatics to do that, then Henderson's availability may take other teams out of the running and at least lowers the price the Skins will get for him.

 

Add Hovan from Tampa Bay to the veteran DT cut list. The market is getting full of decent DT's now. Al's value just took another hit.

yes they played together at UT. Both came out the same draft year aswell.
I remember wanting us to draft Henderson.

 

Only thing is that he might want to start wherever he goes and. Brown and Jones are our starters at this point.

 

At this point, he may take a backup role. Also at this point, he may be a better starter than Jones. Has it been mentioned that he is a Nashville native? I hope he is bitter at Jax. What better way to get back at them?

 

Oh I'm sure they'll talk, but I'm just throwing that out there. He might give the titans the home town discount/benefit of the doubt. Don't really know what his mindset right now is, looking to come back home and just contribute, or to land one more payday somewhere and start.

He doesn't fit the Titans' defense, IMO.

 

In our defense it really doesn't matter who starts because we have a good rotation and everyone will get in.
