I gotta say, Oakland with the acquisition of Campbell had a really good draft. Bout time.

honestly, what is the difference if they take mcclain at 8 or if they take him at 13? a lot of people had him going somewhere in the 10-15 range to jacksonville, miami, or the giants. what's the difference if he's taken 2 spots ahead of that?

I didn't think McClain was worth a top 15 honestly. Color me surprised.

Why didn't other teams make a play for Campbell? He has improved statistically every year he has been in the league in completion % and QB rating (86 last year). He has had a turn style of coaches with the Skins since he has been there.

If I'm a Rams fan I'm ready to jump off a ledge. They could have traded for Campbell, drafted one of the other QBs in the draft in the 2nd or 3rd round and had Suh. Bradford is way over rated, played in a spread offense, has had shoulder surgery and missed a year. He may never get to Campbell's level. Granted Campbell isn't a stud but is still young (only 28) with some upside in a stable situation with decent players around him could do well IMO. The Skins gave the guy away for nothing.

I'm actually upset the Titans didn't make a play to be VY's backup. Way better than what we have now.

McClain's a stud at LB. He'll make an immediate impact like Brian Cushing and Patrick Willis. The Raiders actually looked like they knew what they were doing.

Though Campbell could just be following a list of QBs who go to Oakland's career graveyard (Aaron Brooks, Josh McCown, Daunte Culpepper...), he's a solid player who won't make mistakes.

The problem is, the Raiders need a leader on that offence. It's a mish-mash of young talent all trying to figure out the pro game, and they need someone who can take charge and run that ship (just like Jeff Garcia would have - stupid release, I still say). Campbell has been accused of being unable to lead the Redskins, so how will he go leading a team that has been a disaster for about seven years?

In the games I watched, it seemed as if JaMarcus was not even trying hard at all. From what all else I have heard about this guy. Leads me to think he just wanted that big contact to be set for the rest of his life even if he did not get another.
