Samari Rolle Released

Surprised there hasn't been more discussion about this - not for interest in signing him, but just because it's kind of sad to hear one of our old guys may be at the end.

I certainly don't think I'd go after him at this point; neck injuries are serious business, and CB is a young man's position.

 

One of my all time favourite players. In the early 2000's he was as good as it gets. The dude has always been a little brittle and always had neck issues. Hope he enjoys life after ball.

 

If this was five years ago - I would say yes. But, Samari is old, slow, and injury prone. I use to love Samari, then he went to the Ravens!!

Not much left to say five posts later. But yea, good player years ago, and now on the way down the hill towards retirement. Loved him as a Titan, still liked him but not so much once he went to Baltimore. I hate Baltimore, they suck.

 

Seems like samari's build was a little strange for a corner. Almost like his body typed subjected him to injury.

 

Yea that's why he's a CB, and not a Safety or RB.

 

I stopped caring when he went to the Ravens.

 

He needs to retire. With his neck injury and epilepsy (sp?) he needs to rest up and take care of himself.
