KR option: Ted Ginn?

I'd be pretty psyched. Not only to have him as a KR, but as like a WR4 option. Or another trickster for some offensive tomfoolery.

 

Yeah for sure. I thought he played well last year. I watched a lot of their games and I thought he looked like the Ted Ginn that he was expected to be coming out of the draft a few years ago.

I guess Miami ain't too thrilled with his play though. He would bring a legitimate KR/PR and could be used on reverses and deep routes.

 

I doubt the Dolphins would give him up for a 5th round pick. He was a first round pick and I think they would at least want a 3rd round pick for him. Ginn is a good return man but he would get lost in the Titans depth chart of mediocre receivers. The Titans will want to go with someone that will be good in the return game and provide depth in a position that has holes.

Not necessarily, I think they would take a 5th for him. A 3rd might be asking too much. I want this guy. We passed on Cribbs, but we shouldn't pass on Ginn.

 

I saw this earlier. Toss a 4th or 5th at him. This would immediately solve one of our biggest needs.

If the Jets got Holmes for a 5th, then Ted Ginn damn sure can be got for a 6th or 7th.

The Jets got Holmes so cheap because he is damaged goods and he is also facing a 4 game suspension. The Steelers were planning on cutting him if nobody was interested. The situation with Ginn is very different.

I don't mind us going after Ginn, but we offer anything more than a fifth, it'll be a waste. Ginn can only return kicks and if we want that, let's just draft Trindon Holiday with our sixth rounder.
